Hispanic Ground Forces Tech Tree

the hatred for Spain has been greatly exaggerated tbh, without going into current politics they are just using spain as a scapegoat for the lack of results(in the case of previous and current mexican government, I’m mexican xd) so I don’t see the issue with Spain being paired with the spanish speaking countries it almost sounds pointless to left out Spain considering they are and will be a big part of the spanish speaking community in anything really and in the case of military games plenty of games you can find latam and spanish players playing together because hey we are connected

also +1 for any latam representation

I also think that the Panhard ERC-90 Lynx could be a good light tank to add

Would love to see this to be honest.

As someone who already owns the VRCC, how would you go about that? I mean, would there be two in both the Italian and Hispanic tree. Would players in the Italian tree be refunded, or maybe it is unusable in the Italian tree and moved to the Hispanic. That could create some problems.

It would be handled like every other time. Players who have it would keep it for Italy and the vehicle would be removed from further sale.

Yes, it’s in the tree, friend, in rank 5, but it’s operated by Argentina. But don’t worry, I’ve added more interesting Mexican tanks.

Update!!

Because some people mentioned the lack of more Hispanic countries in the tech tree, I decided to add Peru as the third nation sub-tree. I also added several interesting options from other Hispanic countries, such as premium/event vehicles, to ensure greater representation. The same will apply to the air tech tree I’m currently working on, which is almost finished. I wish I could add more vehicles, but due to forum limitations it’s not possible; it doesn’t allow me to write more than a certain number of words.

I also added some missing vehicles from Spain such as the M37, M44, M56 and the Lince

I would like to point out that Argentinian ERC-90 F1s are fitted with an LRF.

Spoiler

Mexican ERC-90 F1s are not.

Spoiler

Might effect the BR of 7.7 you’ve set for the Argentinian one.

Ive been waiting this since 2020. My father in the 1990 used to drive the BMR-600 in the spanish legion, as he told me there is a lot of versions of them one with the browning m2, another with a 120mm mortar and lately some of them with a 20mm or 25mm cannon and the last one and most interesting for me that me and my father would like to see with a MILAN missile launcher and a 20mm. I wish soon i can enjoy playing this tree i cannot wait until i tell my father the vehicle he drove will be introduced, he once told me it could go 100 km/h. gotta be fun play with it and fs i can give some information about engine stats or amour stats about those vehicles. Me an my father play war thunder a lot and discuss about tank battles and vehicles. Waiting to see this in progress.

Does the system not allow the creation of an alternative chat or the nesting of a new message within this suggestion? Given the current limitations, how will the air branch and its associated elements be incorporated?

Tbf Mexico did announce back in 2017 that a program of enhancement for their ERC-90 will be taking place, the improvements will be focusing on

  • rangefinder equipment replacing optical for laser
  • night fighting equipment( I want to imagine thermals)
  • improvement of the rotation speed for the F1 turret
  • replace engine for a newer one

Now for the reality check this was back in 2017, last “update” about the program is an article from 2020, and it’s been 6 years, while the external LSRF module has not been seen unless we get to see the actual improvements on video and knowing Mexico…I suspect the program is not going well or has been quietly abandoned, so yeah

Following your forum post and the last update you added, I have to be honest and admit that yes, brother, the proposal now feels less “invasive Spain” and now more viable as a possible addition to War Thunder.

I really liked the new vehicles that were added and the changes they have made in general. Honestly, the proposal convinces me much more now than when I saw it for the first time.

You have my full support and respect for the work you have put into this project. I will be looking forward to seeing The air tree, because after seeing how much this proposal has evolved, I have high hopes that it will turn out great too :)

(for an example of an other time: The STRV 81 (RB52) and Shot Kal Dalat were both premiums in the British Tree. Now in their respective trees, but if you acquired them before the move you still have them in the UK tree)

I’d like to add more vehicles, but I’ve reached the word limit on the forum, so I can’t modify anything else. I also try to add unique things or things with interesting modifications. Do the Ecuadorian AMX-13s have anything unique about them?
