Hispanic Ground Forces Tech Tree

Where has it been said there is a maximum of 3 sub nations ?

Besides even if there is a rule which i have yet to find, the nations in the Latin America TT are not sub trees or sub nations, they are the TT. With different vehicles from different nations could be one from Mexico or 3 from Argentina regardless it’s THE base TT.

A sub tree would be if there is a fresh line in the TT and they add a Portugal line. That to me would count as one sub tree/nation if we are talking about a united latin America TT.

Are there any nations in the game with more than 3 sub-trees?

That doesnt mean its the cap gaijin can add more if they wish untill an official statement says otherwise there is no current cap as i see it

When there are more than 3 per nation, let me know; I’ll do things as they are now.

In my opinion it should be Latin America plus spain and Portugal as full sub trees that way everyone is represented and it covers the top tier issue.

no

Exactly, that’s what I mean. Gaijin doesn’t need to speak up for something that’s already implicit. The maximum for now (and I think forever) is 3 per tech tree, basically because there’s no more space or because the main nation doesn’t need a subtree. I understand that some want to see Latin America or Spain and Portugal all mixed together, but it doesn’t work that way; they have to use logic. That’s why I made this suggestion because it’s the most organized and logical option to implement.

This suggestion I made is practically the same as the Commonwealth of the United Kingdom, which has India, Australia, and South Africa as sub-trees because they were part of the British Empire. This tree encompasses the nations that were part of the Spanish Empire, with Chile, Argentina, and Peru as sub-trees. Is that very difficult to understand?

Sub-trees? Maybe not.
Nations in general? At least 2.
There are 3 sub-trees for Japan, and none? are full lines.
Then there’s Australia as a non-sub tree yet has more vehicles in Britain than India which is an official sub-tree.

I don’t know if this as a tech tree is needed, which is why I’m not voting on this.
I do not oppose this suggestion in the slightest.
I don’t overtly support it either, but I do support the nations it’s suggesting.

I overall support this idea, just not enough for me to make a vote.

I hope my explanation is received well, cause I do not want to make you feel like I’m opposing it when I’m not.

I do want to see all of the cool vehicles in the game at the end of the day.

Because they gradually add vehicles and fill in spaces, but there are 3 official sub-trees. Here @THEPolishThunder left a very good thread with proof of which are sub-trees and which are not.

Australia is an official subtree

I don’t know, you like the nations I present and the vehicles (I suppose) but at the same time you don’t want to vote because you don’t like them enough, anyway

I mean, you have the right to like something or not, but it’s confusing. Ultimately, all I want is for Hispanic countries to be included somehow, since we’re literally the most forgotten. All the other subcontinents have more vehicles than we do.

Tbh I do enjoy the way you made this tree, and it is a good idea to apply Gaijin max 3 sub-tree logic for now

the other thing you could possibly do is add a “fixed home nation” so not a sub-tree, but basically it is where a countries vehicles get scattered mostly in one nation, but they aren’t a sub-tree

I’m in agreement, which I hope my previous posts explained that well enough.

I’m not good at explaining things that I love & want, but am still thinking on implementation for.
I’m bad at explaining my ideas in general, & that’s after years of practice on getting better.
So I do apologize for my part of any misunderstanding between us.

Well i do still fully support this suggestion its better then nothing just i have a different opinion in how it should be added but regardless i want to see something soon

I mean, I’ve always said that Spain is the main nation of the tree and the others are the sub-trees. Perhaps I should use the flag of the Spanish Empire as the cover image to make it clearer, because I see that many people confuse this proposal with the Latin American one when the idea is different. But I thought it would be somewhat controversial to use that flag, so that’s why I opted for the current Spanish flag.

Think exactly the same as you, portugal had vehicles that could be added, but as other tech trees they could keep introducing vehicles, i see argentina chile and spain very interesting countries for the main tech tree but mexico, portugal and other countries or premium vehicles could be added, also im waiting to see the air and naval tree (spanish naval army is far better than others already in the game i think) but this tech tree if it finally comes, will bring with it a lot of new spanish and hispanoamerican players to the game and history pages events which i love.

+1 Very good job. But please, put something from Venezuela in the main tree and check some tank from Panama likes m551, you know, for more variety, thanks for this effort.

Huge congratulations, Chilean Thunder! 720 votes with a 96% approval is an incredible achievement. Your effort on the ‘Hispanic Ground Forces Tech Tree’ really shows. Hopefully this keeps growing and reaches even more people — well deserved recognition on the War Thunder forum!

Please, do not stop rallying people to vote—we truly need this poll to maintain its momentum and keep growing.

I am well aware that opinions diverge and that different segments of the community have conflicting desires; however, we must acknowledge that Gaijin operates within strict constraints. If it were entirely up to them, they would likely implement every single suggestion. As it stands, merely considering and balancing proposals of this magnitude already represents a monumental effort on their part.

This is precisely why visibility is paramount. The broader our reach, the greater the support, and the more undeniable our message becomes. Every single vote carries weight—it is not just a statistic; it is leverage.

By default, Gaijin does not perceive the player base as a monolithic entity, but our community is entirely capable of becoming exactly that when we unite. What truly matters right now is demonstrating, clearly and consistently, just how formidable and influential this community can be when acting in unison. It is this collective cohesion and visibility that translates sheer interest into real impact.

Let us keep pushing this forward together. We need to sustain the outreach, keep spreading the word, and bring more voices into the fold. Let’s maximize this growth and showcase the true depth of support behind this cause.

+1 I think adding more TT to the game is needed, since some of the main nations are starting to look a bit odd with the addition of incomplete subtrees that lack much sense in most cases imo (Argentina in the german tech tree for example).
The only thing I’d improve is, as some others have already commeted, to add more op countries from LATAM that may fit in this tech tree (such as mexico, brasil etc). Some of them may lack vehicles enough to make a complete line, but we can see them added as premium/event/squadron vehicles.

Anyways, hope to see this added in the game sooner or later and I’m also very curious to see what you plan for the air tree
