High levels at low tiers

What’s with so many >80 level guys with the most diabolical names at like 7.0? And they’re always at the enemy team and with the most OP plane of the br

level does not matter

High level doesn’t mean you can only play top tier.

Many people get sick of top tier, also the beauty of the game is you can play whatever you want. If someones favourite vehicle is at 7.0 they’re probably gonna play it. And if you’re an average player half the time they’re going to be better than you. Just try learn your planes strengths and weaknesses (and also the planes you fight) at the BR

It’s always going to happen, and experienced players shouldn’t be blocked from playing lower BR vehicles.

However, there needs to be some protections to prevent people who have 5k games in reserve tanks from facing lvl 1s.

In what world is 7.0 “Low tier”

Low tier is like, rank I aircraft. Ergo, 1.0 to like 2.7.

Also, player level is meaningless.

(notice how many levels I got since jan 15. Know how? I had premium account and was spamming my Muramask (premium boat) to do battlepass stuff. I played 87 boat arcade, 400 ground RB and 100 air sim games since jan 15 )

imo cold war and up is high tiers, 4.0-6,0 is medium tier, and anything below 3.0 is mostly just bullying new players due to everyone and their mothers spam planes wich is just dumb to see level 100 players spam premium planes in 1.0 and calls it skill, 4.0 is when players should have learnt the very basics, i dont exspect much of 1.0 newbies (i didtn see this was for air realistc, ignore my dumb comment when it comes to ground)

A single player can be dealt with - its getting complicated if you meet coordinated squads - even a 2-men squad of not really good pilots is in most matches able to win at prop BRs - doesn’t matter what they fly.

Example:

  • I met in my last match (BR 3.7-2.7 replay link) a 3-men squad flying coordinated - i was able to kill one of them (with my B7A2) but had to retreat as i don’t fight 1 vs 2 vs coordinated enemies in 190 A-2s. The low contrail alt (5,2 km) prevented a sneak attack and they went actually up to 8.5 km.

  • And when they went low: The low clouds prevented a perfect pass (and the necessary situational awareness) as you have to be sure to take out one in just one pass - otherwise you can’t risk playing 1 vs 2 if you meet experienced enemies in faster aircraft - especially if they know to act as a team.

  • So in my match they scored 4 kills playing 2 vs 1 vs rookies in my team, but they lost the match due to massive ticket lead; going “all in” from my side was not necessary.

As an example that playing as an experienced solo player at lower BRs requires actual brain power another example:

  • In this match (replay link) i played in the Rank III BR 3.3 Hellcat a full downtier.

  • After 7 minutes i played (together with a CHN DB-3 bomber) 2 vs 9 - as usual my (mostly German) team collapsed totally and i was actually considering to land and j out.

  • But as i remembered this map having a rather strong midfield aaa i was sure that at least 3 or 4 will die to aaa. Long story short: My bomber went low and i managed to kill all 5 remaining enemies (4 died to other reasons).

  • The decisive factor was that i killed them in the right order (Il-2 to prevent ticket defeat, I-16 as he completely outturns me, Yak-7 because he was low enough and the P-39K as main threat before the Re 2001 in 1 vs 2) - in any other order (and without playing patiently) i would have faced a certain defeat.

  • As a fun fact: All of my 5 kills were against level 100 players 😂

Conclusion:

Yes, i used my Air RB experience advantage vs level 100 players (no “Air” mains). But if would want to use an op plane i would have used the MB 157 (totally broken), a P-38 G, a Bf 109 F-2 or the omnipresent Yak 1B - all of them are untouchable in a full downtier.

But my Hellcat is able to outturn Yak-3s in full uptiers (and the 4 mentioned planes at the same/similar BR) with a Hotas (and without instructor) so it is not a question of flying an op plane or not - it boils down who do you face in which aircraft in full or partial uptiers/downtiers and if they are squadded or not; playing as a squad is way more decisive…

What’s with all these low levels at 14.7?

Ion know

  1. high lvl =/= high skill
  2. what’s wrong at 7.0?
  3. what kind of “OP” plane are u talking about, bro? if u don’t like it then unlock it and see how the enemy runs scared cuz u have an “OP” plane too

i have done this same post years ago, didn’t go well, i recommend u to chill out and take it less seriously, it’s not that bad as it looks.
u barely started so it’s obvious u don’t know all the things a high lvl player knows, so i recommend u to do like me and ask somebody (in the forums or ingame, i recommend u ingame cuz people are usually more active there) who has played the game for a long time to teach u everything. i got a friend years ago who is exageratly good at the game, and after years now i’m better than him (lmao the apprentice became the master).

I have stopped caring because I have discovered the A29b plays similarly to a F-104

???
if u mean the swedish A29B Tunnan then i must say it’s a very good aircraft.
one day i decided to go back with it’s fighter counterpart (which isn’t too different) and my first match was 5 kills 0 deaths.

calling 7.0 lowtier is crazy work, pls gimme whatever your on

You don’t think it’s possible to get to lvl 80 by BR 7.0?

  • what if the player progressed slowly and research most vehicles in each branch
  • what if the player is upgrading higher tier vehicles in Assault and is playing BR 7.0 until the new vehicle(s) are better prepared for P vs P?
  • what if the player has multiple nations on the go at once … it’s not reasonable for 4 x 7.0 BR to be a lvl 80 player?
  • what if they got to lvl 75+ in another mode (ground or navy) and this is the first nation they are playing air in?
