There where launch angle adjustments made in line with those specified in an F-16 manual that is widely available online, that was ages ago though.

it probably does exist, even if its only a prototype, the problem is the lack of information, the same is not true for the maverick which there is a lot of information about

yes, because there is a higher chance that the kh38mte does actually exist, considering there are other kh38s and mockups of it than a manual that is widespread being incorrect

one is making an educated guess the other is literal fantasy

A large issue with Russian missile tech is that the build modular systems, many components are cross compatible. For example a R-77 seeker plugs straight into a R-27ER, no fuss no muss and not extensive testing phases.

The change was a while ago and was talked about on the forum.

It is a limit of the seeker. Unless there are better documents that show it to be wrong, it wont be changed.
