You have to not have chosen the wappon, you need to have salected no wappon while dropping serie, only single bomb can be dropped while haveing selected bomb. It is stupide and should ve removed.
Little note, sometimes forgotten: CCIP depends a lot also on speed and altitude of the aircraft, and type of bomb.
If you for example fly low in a slow Warthog, without diving, and try to use high drag bombs, the CCIP pipper will probably not show / be outside your HUD FOV, making it impossible to aim that way.
So in general I avoid high drag bombs, as they offer practically zero advantage over their low drag counterparts but have the mentioned disadvantage because of the CCIP pipper.
Literally the only case where I use low drag bombs is with the Tornado, as this allows me to carry 6 LD and 6 HD bombs, so enough to easily kill two bases, which is not possible with 12 of the same type and the available ripple quantities…
