Yep agreed, but first need to know what it is currently, before i can start figuring that out. I have heard the F-105s and skyhawks had it irl, but dont in game for example. If nothing else, a few people have asked me recently what aircraft do and dont have that, but i couldnt tell them, because i only play 1 nation
well then that would require finding a manual of the aircraft you’re interested in checking if the CCRP is properly implemented. I’d recommend Avialogs as a good starting point for most famous/common aircraft, PDFCoffee is also a good resource. But mostly just up to you and google-fu skills
Yep, thanks for those suggestions, it gives me a good starting point
US TT
F-84F - Reticle pipper selects target point. No target indicator. LABS cockpit instrument does not switch to CCRP mode. Manual alignment of flight path required.
A-4B - has LABS visible in cockpit, but NO CCRP functions at all.
A-4E Early - Reticle selects target point. No target indicator. Manual alignment of flight path required. Note that the reticle is gyro, so there is not always an accurate indicator of target point selection.
F-105D - Reticle selects target point. Reticle circle sight timer. Manual alignment of flight path required. Note that the reticle is gyro, so there is not always an accurate indicator of target point selection.
AV-8C - HUD with target point diamond, countdown indicator, and vertical nav reference.
A-10A Late - HUD with target point circle, countdown indicator on target circle, and vertical nav reference. Note that the countdown is captive on the target point and the vertical reference has a limited extent from the target point, so they are only visible when the nose is pointed relatively close to the target. I have found unauthoritative references that indicates the nav line should always appear and the circle would be captive at the edge of the HUD.
A-7D - HUD with target point diamond, countdown indicator, minimum safe altitude, and vertical nav indicator. Cockpit map guidelines are slightly misaligned with target points/runways. Seems buggy when mission target selection is cycled repeatedly, not properly selecting the target.
F-4J - I think the F-4J system and reticle is the same as the F-105D in game. However, you can end up without a reticle if the external gun isn’t equipped. Selection of a target point creates a fixed reticle in the ‘bomb’ sight setting overriding the CCIP reticle.
Thank you
