Why helis can sit 5 k out and spawn camp? Great thing tbh.

nah, make the missiles weaker or something, multiple times now i have seen heli or plane stupid far away and nobody doing anything about it and the heli or plane jsut spawn camping
Why don’t you? Spawn anti air or a light with proxy

There is a serious compression issue with CAS/SPAAs and it hits helis extra hard, in a down tier the CAS/Heli can just pick off targets out side of SPAA range, in an up tier the SPAA just claps them from well outside their range.
While CAS can use terrain masking to get within range for surprise attacks, the restricted size of the ground map means that if an SPAA is out of range there is literally nothing it can do to engage.

I feel like helis are strong yes, but they are not thaat op
It’s up tier/ down tier, more than a specific BR, but for some examples
BO-105 at 9.3 with 4km ATGM, down tier Radar SPAAGs, up tier 6KM range stingers with contrast mode seekers.,
OH-58D 10.3 8km range hellfires- down tier, 6km rang stingers. Up tier OSA 10.3km SAMs
an so on.
Also a 8.2km range rapier though…
There is no stinger with contrast mode seekers btw
And in downtier you still fight a sgt. jork and pgz09 which will just clap you
No even in a full downtier u will fight the osa. An uptier would be Tunguska or TOR

My bad I had one mode in arcade, OSA is same BR as the OH-58, but you get the point that a full down tiered CAS/SPAA is far better compared to a full up tired CAS/SPAA to the point of simply being immune to it

in a full down tier there are a max 4 enemies at your BR, and they have the strongest tanks in the match, what are the odds they are in SPAAS when you spawn your heli?
It doesn’t mean it’s imposable to see spaa that can kill you, but its far less likely to be up when you spawn and you can do A LOT of damage before someone pulls it.
yes, but “hard to kill” and “sits out off range and you can not touch it” are 2 different things

Again what is your point? If you are in a full up-tier you should be aware that the effectiveness of you spaa is lower. Again not the whole team is 8.3 But yes of course if you are fully up tiered you are fucked in general
