Canyon and Afghanistan are the worst, with City being horribly bugged often with nothing spawning for 20 minutes
Bourbon makes you to fly more time to reach the target, you either climb to get through the mountains, or go around, either way it makes you waiste your time. If not faster helis like mi24 reach before you.
Best imo its city and rock canyon
flight time isn’t bad since Useful Action rewards are every 10 mins anyway, and you only need around 400 Scoreboard points per 10m, PvP racing is just an issue with team size
canyon is absolute buns, lethal .50s from M113s/M60s shooting you down from 2km, high altitude making low tier/stock a chore and sharp topography shifts making hitting certain convoys even worse than Vietnam. City is alright when not bugged, the convoy spawning pattern is super condensed, unless you’re really passive; having a Gepard spawning near or underneath isn’t unusual which is why I prefer Southeastern
Gamemode really needs a rework, ngl.

- Convoy Bradleys now shoot at you
- The ZA-35s on Rocky Canyon will try and intercept your munitions
Yeah I found the former out the hard way while attempting a low level rocket rush in my UHT (thanks Gaijin for finally adding the 2x PARS pods for the outer pylons, very cool). Not really sure what to make of it tbh. Same goes for ZAs intercepting munitions.
On the one hand, it adds an extra layer of challenge to break the monotony, on the other hand it’s even more middle fingers to helis with limited/lower range ATGMs…
Tbh, with those sorts of changes the need for better brackets and different challenges per bracket is even more obvious…

The higher bracket as it is now for helis with 8km AGMs
And an even higher bracket with more modern longer-ranged SPAA for longer-ranged FNF slingers
That is not going to happen. Too many bad actors were abusing the mode by botting their account, while overusing wagers with them. That what lead to them to disable wagers and change the economy to the “Useful Actions” system that caps the rewards. The same system they added to Air Simulator mode when that had a bot infestation problem.
Reverting the change by increasing the rewards is only going to invite that problem back again.
I honestly think that players wouldn’t mind the terrible rewards if the gameplay was actually fun. Once you get to the top helicopter in a tech tree, theres really no reason to keep playing helis. Its all the same. Point and shoot AGMs. Point and shoot AAMs. Wait around for targets to spawn. Theres no logistics. No recon. No strategic targets. No naval targets. There’s barely a risk for failing objectives. The game mode is just boring and monotonous.
