The Insistence on this being the prototype does make me wonder what they have planned for the full production models.
They may be chosing prototypes as Britain does not actually use the Hawk 200, if you add production variants they’d be in service with Malaysia for example.
I do suspect we will see other Hawk 200 variants though, but maybe as event, squadron or premium vehicles.
yeah they don’t use Skyflashes, also purchases predates both of them acquiring Sparrow and AMRAAM,
RMAF has AIM-7M (part of F/A-18D purchase in 1997), AIM-120C-5 (2005) and AIM-120C-7 (2015) after procuring the F/A-18D, TNI-AU did not have Western BVR missile until AIM-120C-7 in 2015.
at best both of them receives IRCCM missiles instead (AIM-9M and AIM-9P-5) on later years.
They could always just allow the Hawk 208 to use the AIM-7M but that’s probably a stretch
Yeah we should probably get Oman’s Hawk 203, in addition to our two prototypes, given our close military ties with Oman.
TBH it was probably well intentioned as the prototype would let us have Skyflash, but it obviously backfired when they found the gun pod allegedly doesn’t fit. Now it’s too late to re-model it to be a production one in time for this patch.

At long last, been waiting ages. And whilst its subject to change because they are a buggy unfinished mess at the moment. They seem to actually do a respectable amount of damage. Will be fun in SB.
A reason to play the S2B over the S2 and the GR1 over the GR4

Can someone check if the Hawk 200 has a drag chute?
Should have a drag chute, only clear photos of the entire chute are on production models, but you can see the cords for the chute on ZJ201:
