Need I say more,…The Hornets Sting has had more bugs than any other update I can remember.
So I guess I am waiting for the TWS to be ironed out?, whats the point of having data links in these jets.

It is the same buggy TWS. Trying to do proper BVR is unbearable. TWS+ is more like TWS- - -

Yeah, TWS+ is a total mess, was hoped it would fix the Typhoon’s radar, but all it did was make it worse and then break everything else

You responded to a post when I was in a hotel with internet so bad I simply couldnt fly my jets…things were moving too quick for the fps rate I was getting. Finally I get home and hop in F16C, went on various test flights and couldnt even lock on drones with TWS, amazing really, considering how long its been in game now.

Yeah I noticed this last night when I played my first game since before the update ever dropped. My TWS wouldn’t find crap. I’m getting enemy missile red boxes about 50% of the time or less. I’m watching them come in cuz I can hear them. And see it strike me, but the red box for missile comes up about 50% of the time.

Someone helped me and said TWS HDN is better because above 1300kts it loses a lot of ability. That fixed it for me.

However my BVR ability and missile tracking to targets seems worse now. I hit rarely, and seem to lock missiles out of frame of my HMD now when I try to lock the plane I can see with it.

So game seems buggy for me now a bit. Hopeful they work it out soon.

Thank you for that tip. My F15C and F16C have seemed to suffer the worst, I used to fire off 3 or 4 fox 3s and could expect three of them to hit (if you pick the right targets), now its having probs locking on to one plane.
Yes, youre right mate, I do hope they work it out soon, that is the point of having the data links in those uptier jets, because the TWS keeps the data link on multiple targets, rather than having to rely on the missles tracking system alone, and keeping a radar lock on them defeats the whole purpose of the fire and forget the planes were designed for.
