I’ve been playing since 2012. For the last 5 or 6 years, I’ve played Simulator Battles using almost exclusively two lineups—2.1 and 4.1—which I consider to be the most balanced in the game. I don’t play Cold War-era lineups or higher because they are completely unplayable; everything from the maps to the actual gameplay is flawed, with you getting destroyed right at the spawn point within the first 10 seconds of the match by an unseen enemy.
The developers use the “simulator” label purely for marketing purposes; in reality, that aspect was never truly present. They never removed the arcade-style maps with pistol-range combat, the kill cam, or the aiming reticles in third-person view—despite the feedback and suggestions from SB players over the last decade…

same here, from open beta. well there was a time, where sim was a thing, but i never like jets with rockets. no skill needed
accurate historic battles was a great before the war and this nonsence mix, like bring back 109 vs spit baby

I haven’t played Sim air long enough to notice but have they fixed the airfield defenders yet or do they still crash and glitch out on the ground for the entirety of the match?
They start out ok but EC in general starts getting buggy after 30-40 minutes
