Calling a catastrophic weakspot that’s the main issue of the low WR of the US tanks “sussy” is laughable.
People make the KH-38 out to be an unstoppable killing machine but any SPAA with smokes or a building to hide behind can just duck the missiles, same with mavs, aasm, spike, pars, etc. etc.; Top tier GRB has hit a point where no single SPAA can really hold back any respectable CAS effort by one side: smart CAS, multiple players, it’s just not enough. Of course that effort is always on the Russian side and it’s always on its adversaries teams where you hear people say “oh i just dont bother” and they bring a lackluster lineup with 1 or 2 vehicles, compounding the problem even worse. I highly suspect players flock to Russian CAS because they know it’s 4-6 easy kills against usually premium tanks with often no SPAA to contest with.
To me it seems as if people have buried their heads in the sand instead of trying to learn. I see the same predictable tactics each time where some guy spawns a SU-34 on 1st death, flies straight in and spams all 6 missiles; over and over I see this same tactic go unopposed. Even though with teamwork or foresight to check airspawn everyone could just smoke and that entire salvo would be invalidated they will typically rack up 4-6 kills. If they had to fight with the SPAA this kind of influence over the game would be drastically more difficult, instead they get to pick easy shots from directly above the battlefield. It boggles the mind how a player can play against such tactics so many times and never consider incorporating counterplay into their gameplay.
I could talk all day about the spawns being too easy to camp, the lack of cover, SPAA troubles such as being easily targeted after spawning but it will not fix the players who would rather leave the game and do nothing with regards to counterplay. This in turn causes even more unbalance than any CAS addition could ever achieve.
Top tier has always been difficult, it’s a hardcore bracket and always has been. I think the new 11.7 premiums are compounding this issue by bringing the wrong people to top tier and I’m glad top tier is becoming 13.0 in GRB because it’s insufferable to play against or with teams that lose over 50%(usually 70-80%) of their players within 5 minutes. I’m against CAS being a simple killstreak power move but only with consideration to the counterplay, which has improved over time especially with laserbombers being moved up in BR and anti-munitions buffs.
Catastrophic? Like the under barrel weakspot? or the lower front plate weakspot? or the ones on the leo 2a5, 2a6, 2a7v where gunner, commander and driver sit right behind each other and die by a shot through the ufp? Or the type 10 as a whole? or most of the leclerc. and the whole merkava? The lower front plate with the ammo carousel of the t90s, t80s and t72s? and their driver port? All of those are “catastophic weakspots”. I called it sussy because of the level of protection that it has in game seems too low wich maybe you didn’t understand supports your pov that something is or might be wrong with it. BUT even if the turret ring will get fixed to what it apparently is, it will be just smaller and has what? 200 mm of armor equivalent? bad news: top tier darts will still go through. You’ll still have enough to complain about after the change. Just maybe adress the producers or designers of the Abrams MBT then.

You’re actually one of the players that could be mains in one of the strongest nations in ground rb top tier Let’s say Sweden, and you would still find reasons of why the strvs are so bad and muh their gen 1 gunner thermals suck and their dart is not the best so thats clearly the reason why i or the nation i’m chosing to play have a sub 50% or whaterver % winrate. And be assured. It doesnt matter at all what your winrate, K/D or every single other stat in a videogame is. it’s no ones business it won’t change a single thing in your real life. Unless you bring it up on a public forum or complain about it. then you will have to deal with people adressing it

The issue is that these tanks (while being almost paper accurate) are only over performing due to gaining nerfing every other vehicle to the ground
By buffing the Leo’s back to their original state (probably above their original state like how they should be)
And by giving every other tank a more fair representation of their IRL counterparts
We can actually make the vehicles more accurate while keeping the game balance.
This goes for all vehicles in game, but we are starting with top tier ground vehicles first.
So the goal rn is to get them to do that. Again, this would mean every vehicle would get a fair representation, however weak points would still be a thing and would virtually unchanged the game in that aspect.
So keep an eye out for suggestions with that

I will love to see that. There’s no point of them not being as accurate and as good as they are irl. and that counts for all tanks. Leclercs, Abrams, Type 10, Challengers and the leos, Which (correct me if i’m wrong) still use the armor package which was on the prototype presented at the swedish trials when???1994? ah just 30 years I’m sure the d-tech armor packages didn’t improve till then. They just thought they would add some weight because who doesnt like a really phat tank right? Like with the ERA packages on the abrams that are basically useless for in game purposes?
Also please get them to finally make the Apaches and the aH1z competitive or fix the frikking hellfire flightpath since in comparison to all other top tier helis they are just vastly outclassed.
