Has anyone felt the bias yet?

I think this will only partially solve the existing problem.

We need to reduce the number of "fire and forget" missiles

Because it’s not normal

Vikhr is still arguably better, range and damage Spikes are mostly useful against SPAAs that’s it, Vikhr can do both.

The luxury that the Russians have other nations can only dream of.

You can shut down Kamovs with AAs, as they need much more time to fire and guide a missile in. It also can’t target multiple people at once.

The balance was always that the Soviets had the best SPAA and the best helis but weak fixed wing CAS. Whilst everyone else (nearly) had the opposite

Now the soviets have the best SPAA still (even after 2 years, no one else has even caught up yet), they still have some of the best Helis and now they have some of the best Fixed wing CAS. Which just got some notable buffs this major update.

It would be fine if everyone else finally got Pantsir level SPAA, we do not, most nations barely have SPAA better than the 2S6 for top tier.

Given the fact the Su-25SM3 was insanely OP for outranging SPAA and then they added the Su-34 in the same update that they said the Brimstone had to be massively nerfed because it would be unfair vs SPAA was just a complete slap in the face to the entire community. Every single excuse given for nerfing the Brimstone into the ground, would have applied to the KH-38, they didnt even remove its IOG.

because ADATS cant cue targets from radar (and has a bunch of other artificial nerfs like IRST range), m247 is actually the best US vehicle for intercepting munitions

Kamovs are the only non fire and forget heli that can survive and reliably kill AAs, because they can keep using vikhrs to intercept the AA misiles and they have more ready to fire missiles than any AA

They also dont have to worry about Pantsirs

Every helicopter can be shot down by AAs, but Pantsir can still do a better job at literally anything, also it can hide from incoming Spikes, there’s also a possibility when a Su30SM spawn in can shoot one KH38MT at the Helicopter and it will 100% get shot down.

Vikhr is still better than Hellfires, but Spikes are indeed useful when it comes to dealing with AAs, but to deal with tanks and having a missile that’s fast and can travel big distances with more accuracy, Vikhr is the answer.

yep, and to further add insult to injury hellfire IOG is terrible so even if its less than 10 seconds to impact and you have to cut laser and evade they wont even damage a stationary AA, and AH-1Z RWR doesnt identify pantsir anymore

Yeah, the IOG is only usable to get the hellfire (and brimstone) to roughly the right area, but wont hit a target like the KH-38s IOG will

Its kinda BS that hellfires though are still massively underperforming

it would also be nice if they added hellfires with blast/frag warheads and proxy fuses so you could at least have a chance of killing other helis and would be better against AA because for some reason the current ones dont always overpressure like they should

could even be hellfire romeo’s that should have better IOG

But Nuh Uh KH38MT is balanced comrade

Yeah, I think there is even a SAL Hellfire that has 10km range if im not mistaken, Even that would help.

AAs have much faster missiles so they can just choose to not fire straight into Kamov, so intercepting them would be near impossible.

trying to shoot down 6 KH with the FlaRakRad is so painful

iirc the 114K is supposed to have a longer range than it does in game

but that doesnt really matter that much because of how slow hellfires are

if FnF is continued to be denied for hellfire only nations. Then every little buff the SAL hellfires could get the better

? even if you fire somewhere other than the kamov it will get MAWs warning and can track the missile with irst to intercept it,

also iirc kamov can guide 2 missiles at once while AA (other than pantsir) can only guide on

Q: In Ground Realistic Battles, top attack aircraft are capable of dominating ground vehicles for the most part. Are there any plans to do something about this in 2025?
A: According to our data, the balance at the top ranks of ground battles is noticeably shifted towards aviation and helicopters, and this balance has become even worse with the introduction of top aircraft this year. The situation where aircraft can attack tanks from a safe distance with impunity makes gameplay more boring for aviation and less fair for ground vehicles, a similar situation is with helicopters equipped with long-range fast ATGMs, or “fire-and-forget” ATGMs.

The balance is skewed towards aviation, so we will add more “shoot and forget” type missiles for aviation.

On some maps they’re nigh invulnerable from the ground.
Kamovs at least need to guide the missile to the target and do it one at a time.
