Has anyone felt the bias yet?

the irish think they are the masters of the spud until they meet east europe lol.

ngl sounds like a blessing for him, vera lynn over idk cardi b or whatever is popular (I only listen to 70s-90s rock I have no idea)

you don’t need to play britain with me, Britain as a nation is best as a supplementary to other nations vehicles

Aye, can never go wrong with Vera Lynn, but you cannot deny the fact that Call Me Maybe is extremely catchy. Even to this day, I still have Teenage Dreams playing in my head. Although if I could go back, I think I’d go to the 60s. Although it would be difficult between going to the U-FO in London or joining the Provos. Actually no, I’d spend the 60s in London, and then the 70s in Free Belfast.

We are the masters of the spud, a true master is willing to learn from other cultures and integrate into oneself. Plus we also went to Eastern Europe during the Great Hunger, so we taught them how to potato. That’s my excuse.

id probably go back to the late 80s because where I live in London, any earlier or later and its not a good story. the docks shutting down and then modern London. a decent era sandwiched in hell

Tonite let’s all make love in London, as if it were 2001, the years of thrilling God. And be kind to the poor soul that cries in a crack of the pavement because he has no body.

can tell that song was made in the 60s. 2001 ended up not being so wonderful from what I was told, wasn’t born for another few months so don’t know personally

Yeah no, although I wouldn’t mind going back to my childhood. Then again, ignorance is bliss, and what does a child know about the world?

Honestly, I could go along with the “Moddy” attire from the time. I do dig the funny suits, just not the Union Jack.

This game is made by russians. Every BR they have to make sure they have adventage since they can’t even make the game fair.
Russian fair play means you have to make sure you hit one specific spot in a tank to destroy it, sometimes it doesn’t work of course because “reasons”, gunner never dies, turret ring is operational because “reasons” and this only happens to the russians too often to be a coincidence. Meanwhile they can shoot you anywhere of course.
Lower Br’s they can just jump into a heavy and rush your spawn stop in the middle of a field in the open and thats what they literally do. Russians made a game.
It got to a point where you see russians in enemy team it’s better to jump to hangar and search for the game where you have russians in your team. even youtubers say the same thing.
Russians made a game but they are just unable to make it fair for reasons everyone know.

“you got unlucky with spall.” - these people will say anything but somehow you always get “unlucky” hitting the soviet. What a coincidence.

So all tech trees are Soviets? Cause all tech trees share code.

This game is made by citizens of the European Union, and one of their owners loves Sweden more than any other tech tree.
Soviet tanks in War Thunder are below average, that’s why they have to have 30 year old newer stuff to compete against NATO stuff significantly older, it’s bad.

I hope Russia’s paying you to defend their tech tree so hard, cause doing it for free seems silly.
If War Thunder had this alleged Russian bias, Mig-29s wouldn’t be so negatively wrong at minimum.
Su-30SM wouldn’t be the most negatively incorrectly modeled aircraft next to JF-17 in-game.

The fact your post implies Abrams steel in-game is Soviet is another wild claim. [All modern RHS is identical in-game.]

All you can do is gaslight Americans that have played for over a decade.

@luque13
Zero tech trees have magic ERA. Soviets have the worst 9.0 lineup in the game right now.
While USA has lolpen rounds and thermals, Soviets get… APS and a fast heavy tank firing APCBC.

There is no such thing as “stealth buffing”.
Ammo racking was never a percentage. There was a bug where sometimes ammo wouldn’t cook off which impacted ALL tanks in all tech trees.
Su-30 being OP CAS doesn’t make that uniquely Soviet; Oh no! Black Night eats Kh-38s! The horror!

Soviet ERA is already correctly modeled according to NATO test results. Not sure why your posts keep implying NATO reports are wrong. You keep claiming NATO says Soviet ERA is magical when they never did. Tandem isn’t simulated on anything. DM53 perforates K5 + armor in-game currently.

Soviet armor is sub-par to NATO composite in War Thunder, there’s a reason ERA is used to account for that weakness.

If Soviet equipment was actually better in-game, T-72A would be 12.0, and M1A1 would stay 11.3.
If a vehicle is NEWER than others and is the same BR, it is inferior to that older equipment; which is easily assessed via cross analysis.

If I want to use the easiest tanks in the game, I play the Abrams. “But Gaijin didn’t model the armor improvements we have no thickness data for!” Correct, and that only matters if they spot, shoot, and hit me.

you are getting paid since every time someones mention “russian bias” u show up out of nowhere. every time. dont make me laugh

@BazieStook
Yes, the United States government pays me. Not for that reason, but they do pay me.
And all you can do is dismiss me cause you know Japan is the only tech tree I ever “mained”, and I play all ten tech trees as a native born American.
Your tactics will not work on me, and that’s why you instinctively dismiss my points after I address your points.

There are T-80 and T-72 had the carousel ammo explosion modifier reduced because they would rightfully die to every side shot and that wasn’t good for the game…

At one point the CR2 had a higher ammunition cook off percentage than the T-72B3!

CR2 TES when it was added to the game was immune to BMP 2M 30mm autocannon and Ka-50 Vikhrs…
Which was realistic as that’s what big massive slabs of armour and thick steel backing plates are designed to do. Ka-50 players didn’t like Gaijin nerfed it and changed it to “30mm” KE protection instead of protection from any 30mm autocannon as per the real world requirements.

No such thing existed.
There is a percentage for catastrophic ammo cook off [the turret flies off/tank disappears], there is no percentage for ammo racking itself though. If the round hits, it cooks off.
There was a bug that impacted ALL tanks in War Thunder equally that was fixed.

Challenger 2 and T-72B3 are identical in cook off, not in catastrophic cook off.

You not always show up out of nowhere - you paste same thigs every time too. Everytime someone complain how the soviet ruin the game you show up and respond only to players who tell the truth. Don’t make me laugh. This is clear. Go respond to another guy who says game is unplayable at this point but it will be harder for you to find, as players figured out to make different tags and flags so the thread is not taken down by the soviet moderation.
25 000 games against the soviet I played and you are just talking same nonsence every time. You can’t tell copy paste these things to me as I know the game better that you.

The soviet 1000% have extra lines of codes for the soviet vehicles and planes. Used to be more obvious back in the day, people complained, they masked it a little, but it’s still very visible.
Go copy paste to some other guy. I been around for too long for this nonsence.

Go any youtuber, watch every video, see how they only can laugh when russian ammo doesn’t explode. Some of them say things like “unlucky shot to a russian tank which happens a lot” or other things.
They can not straight forward say that this is what is happening as russian gaijin COPYWRIGHT the video straight away.
go away man. what a guy

Dude, official war thunder page shows that you just lie.

And i don’t really care, leave me alone

@BazieStook
It’s funny how you think thousands of people aren’t correct; Thousands that I agree with and repeat their factual statements of regarding this game. The datamine information freely available to sift through.
I’ve never copy-pasted, and the European Union, Asia, and America aren’t Soviet no matter how many times you keep implying that.

CAS is OP, that remains a fact no matter your belief.
The newer the vehicle against equivalent older vehicles, the more inferior it is.
There is no special code, the datamine community is correct, and your posts’ claims on that matter is blatantly wrong.

Those videos are all older than the bug fix, and that’s called selection bias.
Gaijin has never filed a copyright strike on non-hacking related videos:

Spoiler

Also, since you’re so addicted to your own stats…
Would you look at that, when Object 279 was what, 8.7, you had similar performance in it to your other heavy tanks [worse than some heavies]. If it was OP you’d have a notably higher KMR and KDR than your Tiger 2s [data in the future cannot be used as I do not trust you to play consistently after this discussion].

You can learn how to defeat enemy tanks by facing them, you cannot determine OP nature of tanks by facing them.
Determining if a vehicle is OP requires a detailed cross-analysis with other like-vehicles.

You know what was OP in the Soviet tech tree? KV-1E. It wasn’t alone in being OP, Germany has its own KV-1E, and USA has the M4A2. KV-1E was OP though.
CAS is OP: F-15E/I, Su-30SM, Su-34, F-16C, Rafale, Mirage 2000D RMV…
Only TOR M1, and HQ17 had their BRs lowered, with the ~6? OSAs being at a reasonable BR.
KV-122 is arguably OP but that’s so rare it’s hard to say for certain; It’s a 122…

And that’s off the top of my head.

I am not talking about how russian are OP. I am talking about how they are unable mentally to make the game fair. They have to give their vehicles ‘hidden bonuses’ - they just can’t help themselfs. It’s a mentality issue.

I am not as I don’t play for stats. U can’t play for stats against soviet with hidden perks eg. 90 degree bounce, gunner will survive no matter what or ammo not exloding. You don’t understand anything out of this / or you are trying to maipulate the general feeling about my posts like I’m obsessed with stats.
I’m saying I played 25 000 against the soviet and 1000% they have extra code lines in there. 1000% sure of it.

@BazieStook
So because Soviet vehicles act like they do IRL there’s a mentality issue… wild take.
I never said you had to play for stats; I stated that your KMR and KDR would have to be notably higher, I never said they even had to be positive.
A consistent 0.8:1 player can still show indication of an OP vehicle if that vehicle is 1.1:1 while every other like-vehicle is 0.8:1.

And if you’re so sure go to github and read through the code.
To this day zero people have found anything in the code that is bias. You can’t hide it either, cause War Thunder has to be playable in locally hosted modes.

People did find back in 2015 or maybe 16 I don’t remember, that russian vehicles have:
less chance to catch fire,
less chance to be spotted by enemy light tank ( that one was obvious if u play against them )
more chance to bounce
more chance to put down fire if a plane
and other things I don’t remember. This was huge back then so Gaijin panicked and made sure nobody can access this info again.
You just didn’t know about this.
