Both wrong it is missing essentially AP rounds like apds, APBC, APFSDS.
As well as it has incorrect values on its HEAT as is.
It’s an M103 hull, survivability isn’t great at all, plus it’s only protected on the turret ring.
You’re deliberately leaving out key cons to make it seem better.
This is extremely disingenious of you mate, you realise the reason many are saying it can move to 8.7 but not 9.0 is because they know it is quite good.
It just is not a damn 9.0 tank.
No LRF, thermals, stab, APDS / APFSDS, bad survivability, no composites.

- Turret armor… Obj. 279’s turret side armor is thicker than the T58’s turret front armor.
- Better elevation drive… wtf? Not only is the T58’s elevation rate slower, but the elevation drive module itself is extremely large and easy to disable.
- A better round… Highest pen APCBC round in the game with very good velocity > HEAT/HESH.
You can take fewer rounds when playing the Obj. 279 to remove all the ammo from the hull front, whereas the T58’s hull is literally filled with ammo unless you take 7 rounds. 13 APHE > 7 HEAT/HESH.
The T58 also has extremely poor hull front armor, it has less hull front armor than the early M60. The Obj. 279’s frontal hull armor is almost immune to 90mm HEAT, while the T58’s upper frontal glacis is vulnerable to 76mm HEAT and 84mm APDS rounds.
I don’t think the tank is balanced, but you’re focusing on the wrong aspect. The problem is the extremely fast reload, the rest is mediocre or bad for it’s BR.

They’re still easy to kill frontally and just as easy side on. Its all about knowing weakspots, the Tigers and Panthers have similar weak spots and I don’t see you calling for them to be 7.0 or 7.3.

Bad metric. I don’t own the T58 and I often bring tanks into 2-3+ br uptiers (Type 60 SPRG, Type 89, RCV (P), Type 16, etc.) What OP tank am I abusing exactly?

He is adamant the T58 is on par with the likes of ZTZ88B, T69GII, M60E3 TTS , TYPE 74 etc wtc.
It should be 8.7 the reload.makes it an issue for the more lower end of 7.3, but 9.0 is ridiculous

Do you need a stab? It’s not equipped irl with one, so that’s irrelevant.

Does it need it? No. Standards of other vehicles aren’t going to apply to every vehicle.

Completely fine as it, might get an odd bounce or low damage shot once in awhile, but over pressuring and 400mm pen is quite nice, and is quite the worthy trade off.
Also, it doesn’t die easily at all lol, you guys must be making pretty big mistakes for that to occur.

Regardless, more gun depression, and double the Turret horizontal traverse and a 2.6 sec load time means you can react to literally anything.
