No LT in game is that thinly armoured.
By all standard of tank shell velocity it is fairly low velocity.
Again you using it doesn’t make it better nor worse than a statistically better vehicle.
The T58 moving to 8.7 would solve the majority of issues with it.
Has more effective turrer armour as well, you are massively over selling the effectiveness of the T58s armour.
The turret ring you mentioned as well cannot soak higher br darts.
The ammo isn’t exactly fantastic and you want it at a BR where composites are the regular.
You want this thing at the same BR as the ZTZ96, T72, Type 74G (which in my experience using it for the since update to get thr Oplot shrugs off the T58 HEAT and APHE.

Our opinions aren’t fact at all.
If the T58 was stabilised OR had an apds or AP like the m103 then it could potentially ve 9.0.
But the lack of stabiliser alone leaves it at an inherent disadvantage over any of the counterparts at it’s BR.

Too much compression for T58 to be 9.0. It would get slaughtered. 8.7 and if they decompress then higher
Insanely terrible take. Turm 3 still holds a reload advantage over 99% of vehicles it faces while being exceptionally more useful in about a dozen more circumstances than the T58 due to its incredibly good mobility for any vehicle at the BR as well as its 30mm coax and good gun depression.

I reckon purely due to how much the thing is being spammed RN it may move up to 8.7 in BR changes, but it’s lacking so much of the essentials that make an 8.7 viable, APDS or reliabe higher pen AP / HEAT, LRF and or stabiliser.
I don’t see the hate for the T58 or demand for it to move up. Once the numbers drop folks will care very little about it I think.

The Turm III is stabalized, and is slightly worse than the T58 in a couple ways.
- armor
- reload
- shell type
Yes it has a coax 30mm, but the 155mm on the T58 makes up for it in every way. The only way the T58 is bad is if you cannot aim.
The T58 doesn’t need a stab, as I have literally been whooping the tanks in uptiers merely because I out load all of them.
Everyone hates the TURM III because of its reload / mobility, but is a light tank in essence.
Now imagine stripping away the speed, and trading it for armor, and having a more effective turret traverse, and arguably better shells.
That’s the T58
The T58 gets as much hate as the fox or Turm III, I’ve gotten plenty of death threats, and “k**l yourself” and “why the hell did they add that!” Or the “USA bias!” Etc

I own both vehicles, and have played both a lot, the Turm III is a slightly worse vehicle, the T58 is 9.0 material. If you don’t care to read why, which I have posted all over, then don’t respond.

Just reposting what you’re saying. What’s your stats with it so far? The T58?
Even people who I played with that have sub 0.63 k/ds overall, are averaging 2.5 or greater kds in the T58.
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it’s a 9.0 duck.

It has better shells for effective armour peircing? wtf u on about worse shells.
It has HEAT FS, HESH and ofc APDS with a 5 second auto loader.

I’ve been playing that BR for the last few days AkA since thursday and have died to it twice, using the type74.
It’s a nice gimmick tank that will likely move to 8,7 due to how much it’s being spammed, then it’ll be forogtten about.
He’s no retort to what we have said.
As well as, the things we have all said that the Turm III is vastly superior in he just ignores and states Muh armour.
forgetting it’s an M103 hull, and you can just bonk it on the turret top and kill the commander gunner, Or just not shoot the turret ring and disable it too.
it’s a gimmick and a fun one, but its not OP like Scorpions making out
