9.0 might be pushing it for an unstabilized not mobile vehicle, but at minimum it needs to be 8.7 along with the Turm III. I haven’t had a ton of issues facing the T58 with 8.0 Sweden, but I do think it should go up if it keeps it’s reload.

While I am aware of it’s capabilities I’m also vastly aware of its flaws.
Ive been farming 9.3 for a bit now to get the lane to oplot opened.

What flaws? Poor reverse? And it’s huge?
Seems to eat HE, and as long as you keep 1 loaded round, it seems to load pretty quick vs an empty loader.
8.7 is too low, as you can decimate all 7.3s as is, 7.7s pose very little threat as well as 8.0s.
8.3s are still a very little threat.
8.7 okay a tiny bit of concern
9.0 slightly difficult,
9.3 alright alright, gotta use my brain a bit.
8.7 for the Turm yes, 9.0 for the T58, stabbed or not, it’s oscillated turret is very good

As well as sitting in a range where it’ll consistently see the likes of T72, leopard 1a5, ZTZ 88s etc

It’s not weak to those, I continue to bounce darts, and heat. The turret collar is 406mm as is

279 is objectively superior to the T58.
The rapid fire is nice, however it is only 6 rounds, it is unstabilised, poor mobility overall as well as weak to most Apfsds and the majority of apds.
Never mind heat / hesh.
Hell ive taken a few T58s out with 105 hesh to the top of the turret.

Let’s be honest here, the Obj.279 has less pen, a slower reload and armor that is only trolly in the hull.
Meanwhile:
T-58 has a trolly turret (the bit you have to expose to kill an enemy.)
A 2.6 sec load time with 406mm pen, and an HE effect that is bigger than the 130 of the 279
The mobility is truly the only difference.

What’s the point of moving everything up like that? The t26e5 and tigers are both 6.7, so why move them to 7.0?
The 279 has a more consistently effective round.
Stabilised and substantially more.mobile.
The T58 will goto 8.7 , where it would be fine.
9.0/ 9.3 are just too high for it.
Also you’re massively overselling the pen to effective use shots.
It’s low velocity af as well as a massive target, which you can pen clean through tbe front of the turret with just about any apds
Because they all bully 5.7 so badly it’s not even funny.

Most shots of the 155mm HEAT that don’t pen usually over pressure.
It’s an all around better round for dealing with all vehicles types, unlike APHE which usually doesn’t fuse on light vehicles.
The HEAT is about 900m/s which isn’t low velocity.
Yes the Obj.279 has a higher top end, but the acceleration of the T58 is quite good, it’s reverse is a bit bad, but often that doesn’t matter because unless your gun is broken, your fine.
Obj.279 has a stronger hull, a stab, and better mobility.
T58 has a better turret, far better reload, a better round / selection of rounds, better turret traverse / elevation drive.
9.0 is the perfectly balanced br for the T58 as it is currently implemented, I will not argue with you, I bought it myself, it’s better than the 279, just admit it.
9.0 is a slight mercy to it to be honest, I haven’t even wanted to attempt playing 7.3 - 9.0 in any nation, in fact I’ve only been playing the T58 because it’s so broken.
If its reload was reduced to 5.0 secs, then and only then, it could stay 8.7.
But given how gaijin loves to keep broken USA tanks at lower brs for a very long time, it is likely the T58 will only move up after 3 months of it being in the game at best.
At least that is killable. I’ve bounced so many things I shouldn’t have in my T26E5, it’s also a great IS-3/4/6 killer, because you have double the reload, and can barrel, then track them, then kill them.
I literally kill 3 IS-3s that were playing smart vs my single T26E5 a couple weeks ago.
You talk like the E5 is so broken yet your KD is only 1.4 in the thing, And kills per game is barely higher than 1.
Clearly it is in fact killable.
