Ground Vehicles **PROPOSED** RB battle rating changes

For ground vehicles only, Italy has the Turans (like you said), P40 (like Nowel_ said), M24, Breda 501, 2S1, M109G, M36B1, Leopard 40/70, R3 T20 FA-HS, Palmaria, ZSU-57-2, PZH2000, OF-40, OF-40 MK.2, R3 T106 FA / FIAT 6614, VBC (PT2), Dardo, Leopard 2A4, OTOMATIC, SAMP/T, Freccia, Leopard 2A7HU (like you said), Strela, Osa-AKM, and possibly the Ariete (P).
A lot of what I mentioned have been nerfed in the past (either through BR changes or direct nerfs) but I’d say they’re all pretty good vehicles for their respective BRs.

Most notable ones being the M36B1, Turans, OF-40 Mk.2A, Leopard 2A4, SAMP/T, Leopard 2A7V, Breda 501, and possibly the OTOMATIC – at least from my opinion.
There’s also the Tigris and OF-40 (MTCA) if you want to include premiums.

Sure, good… some border decent, I wouldn’t call these OP though:
P40 (like Nowel_ said), M24, Breda 50, Leopard 40/70, OF-40(s) , Dardo, 2a4, Freccia, strella.

Decent: m109G, M36B1, R3 T20 FA-HS, Palmaria, ZSU-57-2, R3 T106 FA / FIAT 6614, VBC(Pt2), Otomatic,

Bad: 2s1, Arietes, OSA-AKM,

I agree the most with this though:
“Most notable ones being the M36B1, Turans, OF-40 Mk.2A, Leopard 2A4, Leopard 2A7V,
There’s also the Tigris and OF-40 (MTCA) if you want to include premiums.”

Although most of them are just other nations’s tanks.

M36 is good due to a quick reload, Heat FS and a .50 cal.
Haven’t played the SAMP-T so I have no real idea about that one.

I mean, understand seeing the M24, Breda, Leopard 40/70, OF-40s, Dardo, 2A4, Freccia, and Strella being good / very good, but I genuinely think P40 is OP, especially after a lot of 3.3s / 3.7s got moved up.

I kinda see your point of view with these ones, but I think Otomatic / M36B1 are definitely in the ‘good’ category.

Otomatic practically gets unlimited APFSDS as long as you set up somewhere to replenish ammo with the ammo box. This has also been made easier since the ammo boxes now have a placement cooldown of 15s instead of 60s.

2S1 is a side-grade to the M109G from my experience. a 10.0s reload instead of a 13.3s reload, access to HEATFS, and generally better mobility… but the M109G gets a 50.cal, gun handling, neutral steering, slightly better reverse speed, and smoke grenades.

The Ariete (P) is honestly quite decent at the moment, especially considering it doesn’t get a turret basket (unlike every other NATO vehicle), has fairly good mobility, great round for a reasonable reload, and good hull-down survivability against high-penning rounds.

It really depends on the situation, but its missile’s maneuverability is very good, and you can shoot two at the same time, though its missiles are rather slow, its mobility is bad, its launcher is effectively vertical, and its turret rotation speed is poor.
I think it’s decent but not great.

True, but that’s what’s in the Italian tech tree.

Indeed.
Don’t forget its great turret rotation speed for the BR.

It gets one of the fastest ARH missiles in the game, so it’s one of the best ARH SPAA at that BR.

Centauro II(P) is good, all OF-40s are good, all US tanks that they have are solid-good, Ariete(P) at 10.7 is pretty alright and there are more that I would see when I have the tree in front of me.

But in terms of all the nations, it’s still one the worse off nations.

Centauros… are okay… after they went up in br for seemingly no reason, I don’t find much point in playing them. And I used to rather enjoy the VRCC.
But they have a good gun. They’re a fast TD that cannot take a hit is how I sum them up.

I mean, I also think the Vcc80/60 should’ve never been moved up in br either.

It’s the small gun / shell the Aubl 74 HVG gets but auto loaded with a 2.0 sec auto loader.
That thing does such little damage, that even striking ammo directly seemingly does nothing some times.

The BMPT´s should be at 12.7

Centauro II (P) is kinda mid at 12.3 to be honest. If it was 12.0 / 11.7 then it would be great. The Centauro I 120 is arguably a better vehicle BR-for-BR than it.

I think it suffers from compression, as a lot of ground vehicles do.

If they made the top bracket like 14.0…
As an example.

And made it go 1.0, 1.5, 2.0… 7.5, 8.0, 8.5 then the game would likely be more fun as well as better balanced.

It needs its irl feature to be able to switch to manual loading for the next 6 shells after autoloader is empty. Plus maybe a bit faster reloading inside the autoloader.
So far I like I 120 more than B2 prototype, but I’m still spading the latter one. Apart from autoloader implementation issue it also has even worse turret rotation than its predecessor.
Although I use both in top tier lineup anyway, love them more than 2A7HU btw)

I can’t comment on that. I skipped the Centauro I 120 completely because I never considered it worth my time.

True, although overall I would say that Israel is probably still the worst off nation in game.

I wouldn’t say the Centauro II is either…
Better reverse speed, slightly better gun depression, better round, better acceleration, track IRST, spall liners, and blow-out panels
But is taller, has worse gun handling, worse hull armour, has a turret basket, and is 0.7 BRs higher.
I think they should be at most at a 0.3 BR difference.

I wouldn’t be opposed to moving the Centauro I 120 and CV90120 down by 0.3 BRs too.

In what aspect? Competitive vehicles?

why does the olifant need to move up? It’s a good tank don’t get me wrong but the only outlier it has is APFSDS. Otherwise it has a relative equal in the Vickers Mark 3 (except the former has a WAY better scope).

I’m not saying britain suffers, despite what my messages can be interpreted as. Britain has an over BRing problem, sure, but most of those vehicles are still pretty solid at their BRs. The Chieftain 3 and 5 are… fine at their current BR but when you’re getting uptiered to 9.7 constantly, fine doesn’t cut it.

How is the Antelope still 10.0

what br do you want it at

9.7 at most

It just doesn’t have the range to do anything since its lock is like 2 - 2.5 km

The problem is it has IRCCM and faces jets that don’t even necessarily have flares yet

I don’t disagree, although the Italian 11.7 lineup is sad anyway so 12.0 or 12.3 doesn’t make a massive difference.

I much rather have the better vehicle alongside the better lineup.

Uniqueness, variety, competitive vehicles, enjoyment of playing them.

Your only reasoning for the Chieftain needing to move to 8.3 is “muh olifant”, when the Olifant is already lowkey a outlier for 8.3.

no, I’m using the olifant as a comparison. My reasoning for the chieftain needing to go down is that it’s slow, the armor is irrelevant, and the round does not hold up against 9.7 soviets which you will be facing all of the time. The Chieftain 3 and Chieftain 5 are simply not fun to play, especially when you’re slow enough that some goober who decided to flank the entire team decides you’re his first meal of the day.

That is a thing for all armor at 8.7.

The Chieftains are servicable 8.7. They would easily be one of the better 8.3 and it wouldn’t be particularly close besides the Olifant.
