Ground Vehicles **PROPOSED** RB battle rating changes

None are good at their BR, so there’s no need.

Slightly faster reload that only sometimes comes into play, a proxy round (does nothing against tanks), and a .50cal that also does nothing against anything but maybe a 2S38 someone happens to uptier.

Survivability? M1A2 is once again equal or superior, it’s (external) fuel tanks in the hull’s flanks provide extra protection and it doesn’t feature exposed hull stowage, it’s also got the driver in the centre rather than lined up with the gunner and commander, which makes frontal one-shots more easy.
I’d think you’re trying to be funny with these if I hadn’t seen the takes others have made on the forums.

Sure, it’s a lil better. That doesn’t make up for all its other shortcomings.

Wow, the infamously worst tank players in the game are bad a playing tanks.

Not really. They’re pretty much equal. Abrams is a lil faster, but I’ve also found myself outrunning them, particularly on uphills.

Doesn’t matter as much as people say. Heck, the people who say the Abrams is good for its reload will claim the Type 10 and TKX are weak.

If you’re trying to say the Abrams has better survivability or armor then that’s just false.

That is a legit advantage, but it again doesn’t matter much.

Literally make 0 difference in 90% of scenarios.

Why are you taking full ammo load?

Doesn’t help against tanks.

Thank you for demonstrating your superior game knowledge by vagueposting.

Enough irony there to make a tank of your own.

You just showed your lack of game knowledge if you don’t know what kind of things you can do with browning.

Oh, that’s why your name seemed familiar to me.

You’re the US equivalent of a German main that thinks the Leopard 2A7V should be 11.7 or a Russian that thinks the T-80BVM should be 11.0.

De-tracking opponents whilst behind complete cover yourself?
Nope, only useful against a 2S38 ))))

I’m getting the distinct feeling there might be some lack of game knowledge involved as well.

Detracking opponents
Destroying obstacles in your way as Leopard’s mg can’t break them resulting in Leopard losing its comparable mobility
Breaking BMPT guns and missiles. Yes, leopard’s mg also can do this but it gonna take much longer.
Killing spaa in spawn not wasting your shot

You cannot decompress Tiger 2 hulls. These tanks are far too popular to not put everything within a BR deviation below them into constant full up tiers, which is not fair for the players of those BRs or players grinding those BRs. I keep bringing it up but 5.7 is a really good example for this.

As well as de-bmpt-ing bmpts by hitting their missiles

I mean, that’s fair enough. Though ideally, I’d like to see some bigger changes than that.

I mean, that’s reasonable, though I wouldn’t say asking for the VT4 (not the VT4A1) to move down from 12.3 to 12.0 to be that radical. But I can understand moving the T-72B3A to 11.7, The Black Night (possibly) to 12.0, the Challenger 2E to 12.0, and the Leclercs to 12.0 being a bit radical.

Well, ideally I’d like to see every Abrams get the updated turret ring model and not just the M1s, M1A1, and the SEPs.

I agree with what you’re saying so I’m going to rephrase my opinion.
While the Abrams’ hull armour is significantly better against autocannons and APFSDS rounds out in the open, I’d say it’s unusable in semi-hull-down positions, unlike with the Challenger 2E, since exposing the hull armour (in any capacity) on the Abrams always exposes the much larger turret ring weakspot (You can argue about whether the turret ring should be considered part of the hull or turret, but the effect is still the same).
I would have said this benefit exists with the 2A4M, 2A5, 2A6, and PSO, but their upper front plate armour (same as the Abrams’) gets overmatched by practically any modern ATGM (such as the BMPT’s):

Spoiler

So, in these kind of positions, the Challengers arguably have more functional hull armour:

I understand, though I’d just say it’s somewhat awkward only having some vehicles (that need to be moved up / down), and not others (that arguably need it just as much).

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

US suffers at 7.7. Not because the vehicles are bad but because the t58 is 8.7 so more often than not they’re playing 8.7 games and that’s not particularly fair

But are those values historical?

With pervitin, yes

Are the reloads historical?

Hey quick question. What is the VII supposed to do to a Panther (or VK)? Cupola’s too fat, front’s too angled, turret corner weakspot is fake, barrels just refuse to break if I shoot them (because why on EARTH would a glancing blow not ALSO damage the barrel), can’t outmaneuver them because I’m in a Churchill. Explain to me what I’m supposed to do here other than die, and then explain to me why the VII deserves to see that literally every game when it inevitably gets moved up.

But Browning is useless guys. Come on, all it can do it to kill 2s38

Something most of Leopards cannot do, but Abrams can.

It’s the heavy tank curse at work I’m afraid.

You’re very powerful in a downtier, but most of the time pretty weak in an uptier.

Churchills aren’t the only heavies suffering from it.

Seeing as the Churchill has been moved up to 5.0, it’s only going to get worse. Other heavies (KVs, Jumbo, T14, Excelsior) have the mobility to capitalize on CBTing a Panther, the VII just doesn’t. I also learned of the mantlet shot trap, but that’s so precise that I’m never hitting that in a real game so it’s basically fake.

I suppose you can shoot the barrel, shoot a track and then slowly crawl to his side, like with the Jumbo.

To be honest, I wouldn’t mind seeing if the Churchills and Excelsiors could get access to APCR.

Hey guys, what do u think about the new br changes? Personally i think that t26e5 at 7.0 is not a good idea, i would even accept t26e1 or t34 at 7.0 but the t26e5 is just a m26 with more armour, it will certainly wont be able to do anything against tanks like a leopard 1 at long distance. I also feel like while US has the best 6.7 lineup, Germany has the best 6.7 tank wich is the Tiger II family, i played both and i would say that tiger II is 100% times better than all the pershing family. Idk why this changes are going to be made.
Btw, im glad about ho ri getting removed (i would have preffered if gaijin decided to give us the opportunity to have all the fake tanks back since that would give gaijin more ideas to ad in future updates).
Uk tank getting a br increase seems fair to me, also the increase of the xm1c wich i think it would even be a good 9.7 tank.
To finish this, i dont think leopard 1a5 belongs to 9.0 while it is probably the best 9.3 tank with the t72, u have great mobility, low profile, good reload, really good ammo, thermals and lrf. M48 super would have been better for the 9.0 BR btw, both were good at 9.3 idk why they added this change while other tanks like US M60 TTS is worst in every aspect. Does gaijin workers even play the game? I really doubt it rn. Hace a nice day comrades!!
