Ground Vehicles **PROPOSED** RB battle rating changes

And why does it matter? It doesn’t have the Six Pounder APDS so it’s not like the muzzle break does anything. This is quite literally an arbitrary nerf that would do nothing except make the Churchill worse to play just for “realism”. Genuinely why do you even care, it’s not like you even play the Churchill III.

BR 4.0 is totally broken right now.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but literally ~95% of the 30 or so games (all in the U.S.) I’ve queued since the br adjustments have been AT LEAST a 4.3 uptier (and that’s the best case scenario, usually it’s 4.7 or 5.0).

Obviously it’s not impossible to do well in these situations, but it is annoying nonetheless.

I’m not sure, maybe it’s just bad luck on my part? Is anyone else having this problem?

A lot of people are playing the higher tiers to feed on the newly moved up 4.0 tanks

That’s what I suspected. Hoping it goes back to normal soon.

Every game as an uptier is just rough lol.

Me personally I’ve just been abusing the 3.0 and 3.3 since now that the majority of the 3.7 seal clubber have no competition the already busted 3.x vehicles got even stronger

This game is based and marketed on realism, with Gaijin long accepting reports based on historical accuracy, making this report being nothing new. (Community Bug Reporting System here is it if you want to read it).

So with that said, Gaijin has two choices with fixing the Churchill Mk.III’s 6-pdr, the first is to rename the gun in the statcard and change around a few numbers, with the second being to spend multiple hours remodelling the game model to fit the statcard.

Which seems easier to you?

Not gonna happen, more nations have 4.7 lineups like Russia or 4.3 like Germany, few nations have a flat 4.0

More nations definitely have a 5.0 than the other BR’s so I doubt it’ll change when it comes to getting screwed by uptiers

It does do something, having the wrong gun means more velocity and more penetration.

I do bug reports, I care about realism in this game. So does Gaijin, as they accept and implement these reports.

If you don’t like it, then well, complain to them for allowing it.

I wish you were wrong, but I have to agree.

4.7 has always been a very popular BR. It’s one of the best low tier lineups for the British for example.

Yes, which is what I was getting at, only the more popular nations get a proper 4.7, US and Germany not so much.

Personally I’d count Japan but that’s just cause I love the Chi To’s tbh

Regardless 5.0 and 4.7 are both very popular

Unfortunately without a 3.7 lineup to play I’ve been going back to fix my KD in the Anti lol. I forgot how useless it was as a SPAA

I’ve had a 100% uptier rate at 4.0 since the br adjustments.

That’s because the vk30.02 is a very prolific tank that also should’ve been nerfed as well.

Baby panther?
Not sure it can be considered prolific with spawn-kill ratio < 1 and win rate of 47%.
How would you nerf it?

Honestly would be worth doing at this point. We already have the AVRE and NA75 anyways, which use more or largely the same hull, and the AVRE has a similar turret barring the addition of applique. They could pretty easily reuse current assets to remake the Churchill III.

This would be pretty good bang for their buck since they can make 3 different Churchill variants by just making a few small tweaks to one updated base model.

We could have the current Churchill III dropped to 3.7 with the gun stats corrected.

A mid-production version could fill its place at 4.0, being more or less the same as it is currently with an actual 6pdr Mk.V and a slightly expanded ammunition selection.

And a late model with turret and hull applique and access to APDS would nicely fill the 4.3 slot.

Making it a 5.3 is sufficient

but in what way exactly is it prolific? Stats say otherwise.

And making it same BR as Panther D does not make much sense.

@UniqueScorpions-live i still cant understand why you want a menace like the KV-220 get a reload buff or go down to br with a 2.29 k/d, while the PUMA with 0.66 k/d should stay at 10.3 because of the “survivability”

Yea VK is fine at 5.0 i don’t see the problem

4.0 has been broken for a while. I play 4.0 britian quite a bit and it’s like 85% full uptiers. The matchmaker is so bad

I’m going to answer both here.

  1. The VK’s stats can be crap but it can be a good vehicle. This tank commonly sees 4.0 or 4.3 matches, which makes it more like a fast heavy tank with the only con being turret traverse.
  • problem is it’s a German vehicle, where most players funnel into this nation. Meaning even good vehicle can have crap stats.
  1. The KV-220 is commonly put into 7.0 matches… good luck trying to do much with a 5.7 cannon, and even then 6.7 is also just as bad.
  • this tank has great stats as does the E100, for one simple fact rarity. The sum of its parts do not mean it is in a great place right now.
  • the panther (T-V) at the same br is better in all ways but armor.
