Ground Vehicles **PROPOSED** RB battle rating changes

I know, that’s why I’m saying the Churchill Mk III isn’t overpowered and won’t be at 3.7 especially with my suggested nerf.

Just compare the Churchill Mk III to the Ram II. Difference is almost as night and day.

The AVRE is literally a Churchill VII with a mortar in the turret. It’s really bad for a number of reasons the main one being it has a maximum range of 150 meters. There’s also very little effective difference between a 4.7 full uptier and a 5.0 full uptier.

Giving the VII APHE would make the NA75 redundant and that’s why it’s not happening, it would also gigabuff all of the other british 75s, and Gaijin isn’t going to be doing that. The british 75 is ass, the reason the Churchill VII has such good stats is because the only people willing to put up with the british 75 are cracked.

The AVRE is a Mk III, not a Mk VII.

Churchill III AVRE, which we have. Look at the welded turret, square side doors, square Besa mounting. All clear signs it’s a Mk III.

Churchill VII AVRE

Completely different vehicles and guns. The Mk VII AVRE has the 165mm L9, same weapon as on the Centurion AVRE.

The NA75 is 4.3, so no, you get a lower BR for a far worse hull and turret. Also, the British 75mm is only ass because Gaijin allow it to be ass. It can and did fire M61 APHE. The whole no British APHE is a massive misconception that needs to die. The British specifically developed it to fire US ammo and the US produced both M61 shell and shot - it’s literally in US manuals.

The british also removed the HE from their M61 shells.

No they didn’t, again, this is a misconception that needs to die. They received already inert M61 ammo from US factories, even the US used them. The British have M61 APHE listed in their manuals.

Here’s the Mk VII Churchill specifically.

Vehicle
Type 16,(p) Type 16 FPS

Mode: ground RB
BR 9.3>9.7

The Type 16 (p) is pretty solid ever since it got its DM23 round and I think it should probably move up given how easy it is to seal club. Additionally the current type 16 should be 10.0 and given dm33

This kind of logic only gets applied when its Britain istg. Any other time, the higher BR vehicle would get the more capable round.

my brother in christ the NA75 uses the sherman’s gun and the VII uses the british 75, even if they both got APHE the NA75’s round would still be objectively better (marginally)

The Ram II is also a premium, there’s a big difference there. Of course the vehicle you have to pay real money for is going to be better than the relatively early tech tree vehicle.

Good thing it’s in the current Battle Pass warbond shop. :)

Pz4 later models and chi-to should be 4.3

I didn’t mind the Chi to at 5.0 with the Chi ri honestly, never played them at 4.7 but they seemed pretty good from what I remember

There pretty alright, but comparing them to other tank around that rank they should be at most at 4.3

Edit: or at least gaijin should decompress lower br better

I guess, big thing is to move the Turan III to 5.0 or 4.7 then now that is a proper gross vehicle lol, it’s definitely my favorite seal clubber tank because most people won’t admit Italy is strong in the lower tiers despite imo being one of the better nations for fun OP stuff.

Turan definitely should be higher than the Panzer IV by .7 or 1.0 at minimum

Did they buff it recently?

The Turan? It’s literally a IS-2 Panzer IV with smoke and more trolly armor. Just reverse and drop smokes and watch as you decimate the enemy team with your superior armor and mobility, go try it, it’s insanely fun to abuse

Only people who say the Turan shouldn’t go up are the Italian players who wanna abuse it lol especially with the inferior Panzers being the same BR

4.7 would be fine but I don’t think trolly armor warrants 1.0 above pz4

Engine block as armor is crazy especially with its speed, seriously try it, it’s insanely fun

Performance wise, the QF 75 and 75 mm M3 are identical. Same barrel length, shared cartridge, same ballistics. The QF 75 only performs slightly worse than the M3 in-game on one singular round, because the unfilled M61 is a bit lighter than filled M61. Gajin didn’t recalculate the muzzle velocity to compensate for reduced weight (assuming the propellent charge is the same, it should have ~630 m/s mv). If they did, it would have identical penetration.

The two guns only differ in construction since the QF 75 a 6-pdr bored out to fire US 75 mm ammunition.

Irregardless, my point stands that a higher BR vehicle should get sufficient rounds to make it actually competitive there. There is little real reason to factor the NA75’s existence into weather or not the Churchill VII should get APHE.

Huh? They’d be identical.

Regardless, this means nothing to the point. That being the NA75 wouldn’t be redundant if the Mk VII received the APHE. They’re separate BR’s. That’s like saying the M4 at 3.7 is redundant when the M4A2 is 4.0
