Imo the EFV and Dragoon should both be a full 1.0 lower than they are right now.
In a rare instance of agreeing with both of you, I’d say just about every 30mm Bushmaster equipped vehicle is 0.3-1.0 BR higher than it should be.
Who is this person at Gaijin who values that gun so highly that they’ll put it at the absurd tiers it’s ended up at?
I’m not suprised why Gaijin added it at 9.7 since all the similarly armed vehicles are there, but holy it’s engine is so damn bad.
I think 9.0 would be fine if the Badger also moves down to 8.7. It shouldn’t be the same BR as the M1296.

Why on earth would the EFV become a 8.3?
EFV could maybe be 9.0, but it is actually better than the Stryker (Dragoon) in almost every way.
You can do some crazy crap with that thing in the water.

I’m just worried about them all going against lightly skinned 8.0s.
Isn’t the badge technically faster? Idk I haven’t used it.

It’s more mobile yes, but it has a crewed turret and it’s 30mm has half the RoF (100 rounds/min is truely a pain for the 30mm)

Idk, I feel like setting them equal is more ideal initially, If it continues to preform worse after a change, then it it would be okay to change

Cause it sucks. It can’t fire backwards or sideways, it’s massive, it’s not particularly fast, its still missing spall liners, it’s still missing target tracking a fuse shells. It can’t even reliably side pen a large portion of targets it faces in uptiers.
For comparison, the M3 Bradley at 8.3 has TOW missiles, can fire backwards and sideways, has better survivability, it’s smaller (the EFV is nearly as big as a Maus btw), and EVEN THEN the M3 Bradley is pretty much average for 8.3.
EFV is literally just a faster and slightly larger CV90 with more effective armor and a huge section of empty space to bait shots

They’re nearly the same mobility wise.
Put that “slightly” behind “faster” and your post would have been 10x more accurate. The EFV is far more than just “slightly” larger.
The CV90 has internal armor, transmission, engine, and fuel placed between the crew and incoming shots. All the EFV gets is a spall happy frontal plate, with TONS of space for spall to spread out.
That’s pretty much worthless because you can’t fire to the side or behind, so if someone hits that “empty space” you will lose your engine and be unable to fight back.
I’d bet good money that you don’t own, nor have played the EFV.
Sound snor e like you don’t know how to play the EFV, I’ll say the 30mm trashmaster’s are definitely over tiered next to the Soviet bias mobiles, but I don’t agree that the EFV is the only one that should go down when it’s significantly better or on equal terms with other trashmaster’s.
Also I do own it, it’s on my 9.3 ground lineup I use for the US,

Then you should list more than just the EFV in your statement, helps clear up a bit of confusion but yes that on me

Ngl I love the cv9030, dropped a nuke with it in my very first game in it.
It’s small and nimble.
