All Type 90s should not have to face 12.7, and should in fact be lower in BR than 11.7, especially because it only gets JM33, with 480mm of pen. Oh and don’t forget that the TK-XP is at 12.0, with pretty much the exact same stats as the Type 90, just with gen 3 thermals (Type 90s get gen 1) and still the same JM33. Also, Type 81 is heavily overtiered (yes, it has an insane missile but also no radar).
They were fine at 11.3 IMHO. They have really good reload, an okay shot, but their armor isn’t that great and the thermals suck as does their zoom.
They’re 12.0 material every day of the week, if not 12.3

Their armor is barely even there because GJN doesn’t believe they have armor.

Their main shot is “not enough to deal with everything” and especially in frontal engagements is quite lacking.
Seriously, the type of argumentation you engage in constantly could be used to argue why the 2s38 should be 13.0. It’s dishonest, leaves out weaknesses and downsides, and overexaggerates strengths. Hell you could use it to argue that some WW2 stuff should be at that BR because “they have enough pen to pixel shot some modern MBTs from the side.”
Type 90s have absolutely terrible zoom.

I struggle lot with Leopard 1 because of useless overzoomed optics, so having no zoom seems better to me than too much zoom. Especially on city maps

Type 90 has base 9X zoom, so far too much actually. For reference, Leo 1 is 8x iirc.

Yes they have low weight irl. They’re designed to fight in the mountainous terrain of Japan.
They have plenty of pen, just as Russian tanks technically do, despite Russian tanks having armor vs the type 90/10 being a mobility king.

Type 10/TKX is bad since literally BVM has same acceleration or even better so that makes no point.

It should stay at 11.7 or even 12.0.
I don’t think its fair for a mobile 4s reload MBT with good turret armour, gun depression (via suspension controls) to lol-pen any 10.3 / 10.7 NATO MBT.

I remember funny days when teams were infested with Fuji at 11.3 and just lolpenning common vehicles in downtiers like TURMS, 80B, M1 and 2A4.

This tank is the T-72B3M with the relikt-side bags removed and ARENA added at a whole 1.0 above it, This makes no sense, Even in the base scenarios APS is not worth a 1.0 br jump

BR thread has been a thing forever, this definitely isn’t older. Normally all “Change BR For X” gets merged into it.
M1296 “Dragoon” 9.7 → 9.0
Reason: being a weaker in firepower Stryker, and having abysmal Power to weight, it’s a bit surprising that this was added to the game as an 9.7, it is overly difficult to play even for a stock grinded tank. It has no business meeting 10.7s and barely even 10.3s. In a perfect world, it should be a 9.0 and can only meet 8.3s
