Do you believe the AMX-32 deserved to be 9.7?
I don’t.
I think that’s probably a more important question at this point. Raising all of those staple 9.3 MBTs to 9.7 would negate the decompression between 9.3 and old 10.3(now 10.7) we got last year.
I for one do not want a return to the dark days of 9.3 being completely unplayable. Lol

I don’t think it’s the strongest 9.7 out of the 9.3s that should be 9.7, but if it were 9.3 then it would be extremely good considering the AMX-32 (105) is just that but worse in acceleration, armour, and round.
AMX-32 (105) shouldn’t go to 9.0 either considering I’m thinking of having the M60A3s (with the American one possibly receiving M883), Class 3 (P), XM803, Chieftain 900, TAM, and Object 279 move up to 9.3 .
And they should move up those BRs again.
Hell, the 2S38 would become a menace to these 9.3s again after it gets moved to 10.7.

8.3 needs to see decompression somehow as well.
Does it though? I spend a lot of my play time in the 8.3-9.3 range and it’s honestly one of the bright spots in GRB at the moment. I don’t play all nations so I can’t speak from experience on all fronts but it’s seemed quite good of late.
I feel worse for 7.3s fighting 8.3s than I do 8.3s fighting 9.3s.
Well, if you move some 9.3s up then you might move up some 8.3s as well.
Probably the worst compression is currently happening at ~8.0 and it needs fixing.
You forgot to mention it’s slower than an M109 and a full 2.7 higher.
I better comparison is just VIDAR but without LRF or thermals (the main things that make VIDAR OP) at the same BR
It shouldn’t be, the M48 turret is shite ergonomically for the loader. The M60A1 turret is basically perfect.
I mean yeah, about the T-34 but the KV-1E is just painful for 3.0s or any kv1/t34 for 2.7

The rounds make it a rank 1 vic. loses fight vs a stuart. Shells cause minimum damage to BRs bellow. Cant do ANYTHING vs same BR or above.

Its the worst by far iv used. shots in side and shots to weak spots dont matter. The only kills Iv got were lucky to hit ammo

I can understand the Type 69 going to 8.3 because it has a dart.
The vickers im kinda on the fence about.
And the TO-55 is just a no.
The TO-55 has ammo literally everywhere, almost half the turret traverse of the vickers, worse reverse speed, better reload by 2.5 secs, and lack of smoke grenades.
For slightly better frontal armor, and a flamethrower.
I used it with Churchill 3 chassis, i love it. 4s reload + 130 pen and decent damage for hit is enough
Just give it M86 APHE.
It would have lower muzzle velocity and penetration than as seen in this stat cared when fired from the shorter 6pdr Mk.III, but it would still be a very useful round for consistent damage.

Hull armour is much better because its crew is more spaced out and you can angle very well (Isn’t that the whole point of the Tiger? Tiger’s perfect angling is a lot worse than KV220’s)

There are other tanks at 6.0 that are worse than it.
M4/T26 and Centurion Mk.1, for example.
It’s not particularly strong at 6.3 especially considering the T20 exists and behaves quite similarly, and better in other aspects.
Vickers Mk.1 has a 5s reload to compensate. If it only had a standard 6.7s reload then it would be fine at 8.0.
Type 69 too, though its APFSDS sucks and gets no APHE so they’re just about equal (other than the TO-55 not having a LRF).
In which Panzer 4s can lol pen the KV-1E pretty much anywhere.
While the KV-1E will actually have some trouble against the Panzer if it’s an uparmored one.
Pz.4 should go back to 4.0 as well.
