Ground Vehicles **PROPOSED** RB battle rating changes

I don’t think one server is inherently going to be easier than another.

It’s all who you match up against.

What would solve most issues would be to make it so you can’t see a full 1.0 uptier.

I’d rather wait 10 more secs and have a fun good game, rather than a game where my gun is useless.

In the case of the T18 that’s an odd tank

Edit: again, though if not moved to 5.7, the Kv-220 should get a reload buff. @ULQ_LOVER
Because against Tiger IIs and the like, ferdinans, jag’s patchers etc it really cannot compete

To be honest, it should be 5.7

what about the regular centauro at 9.3? i think it could get DM33 to balance it out with the other ones

also pretty sure the VRCC has better thermals than the other two

i have no idea how this one slipped past all the br changes… literally every time i see people suggesting this exact change but nothing happens in the end

Better thermals doesn’t really justify an br increase. If it had like m900 sure, different br.

DM33 isn’t bad my any metric the gun and mobility are what make those tanks decent, but the other factors make them meh.

I just know the VRCC and the Centaurus are in a bad place.

And there is no easy solution to fixing them

RUSSIA:

BMPT/ BMPT-72 10.3 → 11.0 GRB/GSB

This vehicle is too good for 10.3, and likely too good for 10.7 making it 11.0 will give the T-90A a backup vehicle to use, and have a balanced br for the vehicle. It’s very lethal which makes it great, but like other T-72s the BMPTs can be lower plated with ease.

ISRAEL:

Magach 6M - no BR change, give it M413 (DM33 equivalent)

give it M413 to bring it in line with other 9.0 pattons, since it is currently completely outclassed by its BR contemporaries

Spoiler

as it currently stands, this is the worst 9.0 patton

compared to the american TTS it has:
-much worse turret armor (since this magach has the m60 turret)
-worse ERA (260 CE compared to 400 CE)
-MUCH worse dart, the m111 is a dm23 equivalent, while others have dm33 or m774
-worse optics, 7.2-8x zoom compared to 3-12x

all in all there is isn’t much point in playing this one, its just completely outclassed in so many ways
giving it m413 would atleast close the gap with the chinese/thai TTS

I said the same thing a while ago; based on dates and the FCS, both the Shot Kal Dalet and the Magach 6M should carry the M413.

All T-80U, UM2, UE, UK, UD, BVM (T80U or newer) reload corrected to 6.0 seconds. (Historically accurate, cyclogram data literally even says 6.0 seconds. THIS APPLIES TO ALL MZ LOADER TANKS!)

Russian MBTs: Firepower and Protection versus NATO counterparts - #219 by aDSD

Added:

T-80UD 10.3 → 10.7

Given its recent fix to its autoloader speed giving its true reload, it is reasonably now 10.7 material.

All type 90 MBTs 11.7 → 12.0

Being the fastest MBT in the game with an excellent 4.0 sec reload, it’s strange that it has sat 0.3 br lower than its competitors. Its armor profile is odd but it can reasonably bounce M829A1 and thanks to its recent buff on armor around the gun mantlet it’s beefier than usual. It can take early game positions quickly and if a couple skilled players crew it, it can result in an instant loss for the opposing team.

Strv m/42 DT 5.0 > 5.7
The reload speed is insanely fast - just 4.0 to 3.5 seconds! Combine that with a 75 mm gun firing APHE rounds capable of 149 mm of penetration and excellent angled performance, and you’ve got a real powerhouse. Sure, it lacks the APDS shells of the Strv 74, but honestly, with this vehicle’s superior mobility and blistering fire rate, it already outclasses the Strv 74. And its turret is about, 30-40% smaller.

The vehicle is highly mobile, maintaining its speed even through turns and reliably reaching its 45 km/h top speed on most terrains. Its armor is sturdy enough to shrug off some autocannon fire, and the massive gun breech that divides the turret absorbs around 60% of incoming damage, often allowing it to survive hits from an 88 mm shell with only minimal crew loss. sometimes just a single crew member, thanks to the breech taking the impact.

Pvkv IV 3.0 > 2.7
This vehicle is abysmal. Its mobility is only slightly better than the Strv m/40L, it struggles to get around the battlefield effectively. The turret is its biggest weakness: cramped with both turret crew members sitting shoulder to shoulder. paper-thin armor, sluggish rotation, and elevation speeds that make even the M10 Gun Carrier look responsive. As for protection, the armor is completely inadequate for its BR, offering little to no resistance against anything you’ll face.

On paper, the gun seems promising — it’s the same cannon found on the Pvkv III, just mounted on a lighter chassis. But even with APDS rounds, this vehicle is a painful matchup against stabilized Shermans and T-34s, both of which will outgun and outmaneuver you with ease.

Ikv 72 1.7 > 2.0 (And switch places with the Sav m/43 (1944) )
image

This vehicle is fast, agile, and deadly. Its gun is excellent for its BR — even up to 2.7, and thanks to its APHE rounds, it can one-shot most targets with a clean penetration. The cannon boasts an impressive –20° of gun depression, letting you comfortably use terrain to your advantage.

With its low profile, this tank excels at close-range brawling and flanking, making full use of its quick reload and devastating APHE shells to dispatch nearly any opponent it encounters. Sure, the armor is thin, but given its speed and firepower, it’s a fantastic little machine that more than makes up for it!
