Ground rp gain

RP gained in Ground battles should be increased wither it be by a lot or not it should be increased. I find myself gaining atleast half the rp from ground battles than air especially on higher br’s and taking 2-3x the time to get a ground vehicle around br 11.0 than i do for a jet in 13.0-14.0.

Ground RP gain getting increased would require that air and naval RP gain get increased as well for fairness.

I’m glad you’re better at air than ground, but being better at one game mode doesn’t mean that game mode rewards more per same skill level.

Yee, definitely should increase ground sense it takes like 3x as long to get 1 vehicle. Up naval earnings by 5x and every mode should be pretty decent at that point lol.

Naval and ground sure but air is already the most lucrative gamemode by far it barely needs any economy changes at this point, air rb also doesnt require having a lineup of different vehicles as a requisite to perform well meaning the grinding requirement is also much less for air rb

Sl gain could be increased. Air for RP ground for SL

With identical skill, air and ground RP are within margin of error.
Identical skill means you’re getting 3 frags in ground for every 1 frag in air, because one mode has respawns.

If you want “air rewards” in ground, you want to abolish the respawn system and make it World of Tanks.

Frags grant activity, which grants time played points, and in ground RB it’s less activity per frag than air RB.

As the many dedicated players of the War Thunder playerbase has proven countless times, activity is what grants you RP.
And frags are a part of what increases activity.

Two above average matches:


I tried quitting both matches equal to each other, but ultimately couldn’t.
Ground gives more rewards for general activity and in-match tasks such as capturing zones.

690 for 6 frags in a respawning game mode vs 596 for air RB.
Etc rewards is 847 ground vs 733 for air.

Then capture, activity, + time played is 1676 vs 2018.

Are you really suggesting that getting a 3.0kd in ground is anywhere as easy as a 1kd in air?

3 frags is a 1KDR, not 3.
You have 2 free spawns, and any frag grants you a 3rd spawn.

And you get the same or even near the same RP for 3 kills and 3 deaths in GRB as you get for 1 kill in air both matches lasting the same time? I really doubt that.

It’s actually closer to 2.5, but 3 is cleaner to type and over-estimates the needed performance.
I posted screenshots proving this on another topic because I coincidentally had 2 mediocre matches, one in air RB and one in ground arcade. [Ground arcade has a maximum 3 spawn system.]

Accounting for the different vehicle RP multipliers, the base RP was within margin of error.

Ground battles are not only more enjoyable on average than other modes, but shorter. RP gain is fine.

1.22 and 0.81 RP per second is anything but a margin of error.

At a full 25 minute game, no respawns and 0.9 activity this culminates in a:

Win: (2 x 1.22 x 1.0 x 0.9 x (60 x 25)) - (2 x 0.71 x 1.0 x 0.9 x (60 x 25)) = 1377 RP in favour of ARB before including vehicle economy modifiers, premium, boosters or skill bonus.

Loss: (1.34 x 1.22 x 1.0 x 0.9 x (60 x 25)) - (1.34 x 0.71 x 1.0 x 0.9 x (60 x 25)) = 923 RP in favour of ARB.

Again, 25 minute survival, no respawn, 90% activity for both scenarios.

It’s nearly half the amount of RP gained per second.

Kills are irrelevant for RP gain, it’s RP per second that matters.

Kills only matter for SL gain and obtaining the +100% skill bonus.

Because he spreads misinformation when we have literal data and research by dedicated members of the community (Report on how scores, SL, and RP rewards are calculated) that he is besmirching, devaluing and so on through his awful behaviour and that makes me angry.

(also ffs forums are breaking. 405 error over and over again.)

I know and understand - he makes everyone angry. But there is noting we can do about it, as admins and mods keep him under protection.

It’s best to just mute him, forum is much better without his toxcicity
