In most cases SPAA are not enough, planes would be much better. But again, if people want to just play tanks nothing is going to change that.

Such a detached world as with SBMM people would have to fight with others on thier level, not how it is at the moment that You can be matched against people much worse than You.

Maybe they already is in the game because I’m appears to babysitting US click bait 90percent of the times regardless what nation i play often that they can’t even deal with one or two KA i even keep those SU-34 aways from them yet result still the same
That is why SBMM would solve it, no more playing with/against bad players, just people on Your skill lvl.
The grind isn’t THAT bad, yes it’s higher than it probably could be especially for SPAA and Light Tanks. But I personally don’t even think about it. If you can manage to get 7000rp per game, it’s only 60 games. Which is a lot, but it’s not really at the same time if you actually enjoy the game.
The Roland 3 missile has a range of 8km with Search Radar up to 16km and IRST up to 10km at 9.7br… the A-10 and SU-25 will not track from 8km out. Yes it can still launch at a static target, but it won’t track reliably until about 6-7km out, sometimes even then it’ll struggle. Literally just move. You know it’s coming up to 9-10 kilometers before it’s able to reliably track you.
The ITO is the same situation, Guaranteed launch range of 11km, 18.5km search radar, 16km tracking radar. Nothing in the game can launch guided munitions from that far away. Literally. Just. Move.
Even if A-10 or Su-25 will fire a missle from 6km away, he has much more chance of killing You due to him being able to avoid Your rockets than You even have in SPAA.
Not to mention roland having limited elevation.
And? You’ve been able to track him for nearly 10km before he got that launch. I’m NOT saying the SPAA’s are perfect and you’re going to win against planes every single time. But you’re making it out like they’re worthless and if there’s CAS in the sky, it’s over… it’s not. You just don’t wanna play SPAA. Which is fine, but just say that.
If player knows what he is doing, it is over for SPAA.

Not if the SPAA player knows what he’s doing too. Yes a good Jet player will know when to hug the ground and when to pop up to take a shot. But 99% of SPAA players just sit in spawn and are EASY to spot and prioritize because of that. You know how much more successful you can be if you’re even slightly hidden? Or turn off your radar until you physically spot an aircraft within range? If you use IRST (where available) you can smack CAS players without them even knowing it’s coming while they’re busy in the camera 'cause their RWR won’t go off.
I’m gonna leave it at that anyway. I can bring up all the stats in the world showing you how wrong you are but you’ll just argue against it using only how you feel, which isn’t gonna get us anywhere.
