Ground RB at 12.0 and higher should be all mixed

For me, they’re the longest lasting and best fought battles.

If you don’t have the spatial awareness to hear in enemy in a direction and reference that with your map, that’s on you.

All it does is nerf tanks like the Abrams with loud engine noises as they can be heard from a mile away. Furthermore, the amount of CnP pretty much makes it so that if you hear a T-72 around a corner, it could be German, Russian, Hungarian, or Finnish (or Chinese since the ZTZ96 uses the same engine noise iirc). So the engine noise doesn’t really men’s anything other than knowing what type of tank is there, which you could do in mixed battle anyway.

No I dont, the averages would even out with enough volume.

as opposed to 15v4 games that are current yeah ok

yes they do, bodies are important

I admire the optimism, but i don’t think it’s unreasonable to predict this will probably end up like… Pantsir S1M in March. KUB in June. BUK in September, and then, maybe if we’re lucky, Countries like Israel may finally get some scraps in December (If in 2025 at all).

I aint holding my breath for balance, so in the meantime, as a purely temporary measure, mixed battles could ease the misery for those who no doubt will fall even further behind.

Exactly. Sweeps (a solid portion of top tier games right now) are fun for neither side.

Never said it was, but certainly plenty of ODLs happen due to premium spam.

This could help.

Yeah, neither is fun.

More than enough bodies are present without them.

no there isnt which is the problem and is leading to america being stomped in less than 5 minutes 60% of the time.

And I thought everything I said was a bad take :P (Jk).

Yes, that’s why I didn’t suggest them to have a permanent backup- I thought of it, but that would make them just way too good on the long term.

As you said, they should only be able to spawn that additional backup until, maybe, they unlock the rank of the Premium on the regular tree, which means they will soon be able to add more vehicles to their lineup with similar capabilities.

Regarding the tutorial, this is how I would do it;

Lydia likes modern MBTs, and just found out about War Thunder; so she downloads it, plays the starting tutorial… then purchases Click-Bait, and- oh, another tutorial!

And, until the tutorial is done, she can’t join matches. The tutorial has two parts:

1- All of the features and mechanics exclusive to Top Tier are explained; laser rangefinders, thermal sights… the tutorial explains one by one these features, and instructs her to set all of these keybinds before continuing the tutorial, ensuring that she has all necessary keys properly binded.

2- A PVE match- it is mandatory to win with a good score to finish the tutorial, and it would not be easy. AIs would be decent and in end-of-the-line vehicles.

There’s nothing wrong with ODLing if you actually had an impact on the match and by the time you die the game is pretty much over. If I look at my minimap and al the zones are capped by the enemy and no teammates are visible, I’m not respawning.

So ultimately that brings it back to the players who don’t impact the match being the issue, which are often times premium players. It’s not a scapegoat when we have direct evidence that the introduction of premiums hampers win rates and thus makes games end sooner and less rewardingly.

Thing is- every nation (except for France) has Top Tier Premiums.

There’s been an enormous surge of Fuji players in the last few months, Russia and Germany also have tons of Premium T-80 and Leopard 2A4CAN players, etc.

Yet there only seems to be a persistent issue with U.S… wouldn’t that be due to other considerations?

If only Premium players were to be blamed, then everyone would be having the same issue.

Agree, also, keep mind that there is also “non-that-useful” players in the enemy team as well. However, “this time the enemy has prooven stronger”.

I had won quite a few 12.0 GRB recently with allies with 0 points, and surpirsingly, they where not even using premium vehicles…

This reminds me of a player who came to the Forums raging about “Premium Noobs leaving after one death”…

I checked the one-death leaving players- ALL of them were Level 100s with FULL lineups, in many ocasiona, on MULTIPLE nations.

Yet, just because they left after 1 death with 0 kills on a Premium vehicle, the poster assumed that “they were newcomer wallet warriors”.

This is what I mean by newcomers being used as scapegoats.

Sadly, everyone ignored my fact-checking and just kept hating on “newcomer wallet warrior noobs”.

New generation of WT players really need handheld hah?
back in the days I grind to get Leopard 2A5 Challenger 2 Ariete and T-80U without help of premium vehicle only premium account
now they can’t even reach top tier without their shiny top tier premium vehicle?
such weak generations.

Hahah, hey, I’ve been around since 2014 and I refuse to grind any tech trees without Premium Top Tiers anymore!

Leaving aside the time considerations, I’m just a dedicated Modern Machinery enthusiast. 95% of my WT playtime is on modern machines, I just don’t find that appealing the lower tiers most of time times…

So I would rather buy a Premium Top Tier so I can grind towards modern machines while playing a one which I already enjoy by itself, than spend months grinding through vehicles I’m not interested in or find enjoyable to play.

Considering the M1A1 Click-Bait is superior to both the T-80U-E1 and the 2A4M, I doubt so. It’s a circular issue.

Premium noobs show up and ODL > WR tanks > TT players leave because of the bad experience > they get replaced by a premium player

The reason this happens with America is because Germany has a good lineup and something better than the 2A4M to grind for, and Russia has easy tanks to play.

skills issue to not own business I supposed anyways even that during those times I was able play around 3 or 4 hours a day (and still is) except weekend or some holidays that I might solo 7 hours or more because I close my shop at weekend so it not much different than regular working so say people don’t have times go grind is just another excuse.

We definitely do not need war thunder to turn into WOT, I don’t want to pay money to get a better round, so I can chip away at a hitpoint counter on a tank. And to have no planes, etc.

You pay for better shells in war thunder, they cost more SL. Naval in war thunder has hitpoints lmao. Welcome to WOT.

While I understand you have more available time than other people, I also think that the uncenesary amount of RP to unlock the high tier vehicle, psh players to play only premium ones from br 9.7+.

Specially players that are here for ages, dont have patience anymore to grind a whole new tree, just because they want to play a new vehicle (myself included for not less than 4 reasons…).

I would assume at this point that the focus of the game swifted from “Unlock and play the vehicle you like” to “Unlock every vehicle from evey nation… here is a premium to help you…” and could conclude that is the reson the Top tier battles are awful (to say less).

Im too old to understand how Thunderskill works, but I would love to see how much the Premium vehicles are played in comparison to standard TT ones.

From the people I check recently randomly in battles, not many of then has more than 50 battles with their 12.0 tanks, but they do have 400+ with their 9, 10 and 11 premiums.
