Ground AA in sim needs to go

Gaijin either needs to delete the AA from the ground guarding convoys and the like if they’re not going to fix it, or actually put in the effort and fix it.

For anyone not in the know, in sim AA is extremely accurate and extremely detrimental to your ability to attack AI ground units. This has basically made it where you’re only allowed to bomb the respawning bases if you want to attack ground and this creates a LOT of fighting over bases. The gamemode would be a lot better if the AA was reduced to a reasonable degree of difficulty to avoid.

In high tier jets there’s no AA around bases or it just does not shoot. But in lower tiers (Rank 1-4 or even rank 5) these can kill or damage you severly.

I just avoid convoys.

Yeah I mean that instead of having the option for bases OR ground targets, the AA is so strong on ground targets that you are forced into bases no matter what basically unless you have long range weapons

It would be by far more managbel if the ground cluter would work and threes would provide cover make.

Just today i was flying in my Tornado towards a base at mach 1.2 over a hill something 60 to 80 meters over the ground. just rolled over the hill and I was instant snap shoot by shilka in convoy with its radar deactivated, dish was down. To be fair I did not see that there was convoy on its way but also I was not flying straight at it. Tracers came from the right.

By no means hould have that thing so fast reacted. Especialy with no radar lock. I get it when fly in straight line 200 or more mters above ground but NAP, it is a bot after all and needs tweaking.

terain needs to block radar and make locks harder less precieise also if they shoot with no radar the acuracy needs to be lowerd by far.

I would wish for AAA on bases, especially if they add ZSU 23-2 and other nations stationary manual equivalents. heck even .50 cal emplacements dyshkas and MG3´s on antiairlafets.
