Do not worry, I was just really shocked at the sudden change in speech hahaha.
Regarding Chile and Brazil as anchors, I don’t think Latin America will be added as a separate tree, as it’s such a diverse nation to the point where it would kinda invalidate other nations.
Specially since LATAM is commonly known for buying both the native munitions of the desired aircraft and extra compatibilities with Israeli munitions or local munitions.
Like, I highly doubt the developers would consider worth to add a tree with F-16’s, Su-27’s, Mirage 2000’s and like 4 modernized Kfirs and the Atlas Cheetah, that’s why I mostly appeal towards the sub-tree option, because trust me, I am too foaming at the mouth to see our dear Mirage F1JA’s and Kfir CE’s from my country, Ecuador, in the proper Latin American tree or however separate entity it may be.
However, as I mentioned before, I doubt it’s possible, mainly because of “le balancing”
And even with this, I doubt Latin America will fully be added to Israel, as it’s likely the devs will appeal to those vehicles with strong Israeli ties.
None of those are artificial.
Words have meaning for a reason.
It’s okay to just use the word “incorrect”, or other synonyms of incorrect. The word has strong meaning.
People are self-deceiving with buzzwords…
Classified armor is too conservatively estimated in general. Sadly? Not unique to Merkava.
AIM-120C-5’s only under-performance is dual plane doesn’t exist in War Thunder, which is reliant on an engine upgrade or general overhaul.
Radar indicator? Do you mean HUD iconography? That’s just HUD development being… endurance.
As for Sufa’s RWR, the bug report was accepted: https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/T0dPsLeaQBe4
I’m sorry to disappoint but they are in fact artificial, I’ll provide the report sources later since I’ve got vector calculus class in like an hour.
In the case of the Merkava there is literally an entire forum page dedicated to how despite the evidence and various sources, the Merkava remains to be seen underperforming in terms of armor
In case of the JHMCS, there is a report over a year old that has been accepted regarding the lack of radar target indication, which is also complement by the fact that Israeli aircraft have been confirmed and accepted to use the DASH IV by, yet another accepted report, without any further acknowledgement.
In case of the AIM-120C-5, this is while due to the limitations of the game also another fiber that really pisses me off, despite being proven in multiple accounts of the Sufa having services the AIM-120B it still remains to be added.
The main problem I think is equating a report being ACCEPTED with it being FIXED or ACKNOWLEDGED in total.
Like I mentioned before, particularly in Israel’s case, there are various reports that have been accepted and yet to receive any updates from the managers at the site.
Which is why I bring it up particularly, because the fact that accepted reports aren’t being actively fixed and implemented means that it must be consciously ignored, as there are other issues of equal importance that ARE in fact fixed in less time despite presenting the correct evidence.
The last time I was on the Merkava forum topic, there were no posts of armor data.
Only non-armor related matters such as weight claims to nerf Merkava, and vague statements that can’t improve armor of any tank.
I’ve noticed Gaijin saves themselves a lot of flak by never showcasing Israeli vehicles during promotional trailers, which is funnily enough a good tactic.
Like I mentioned in this post I made yesterday a few hours before sleep deprivation hit; Israel needs vehicles, and as I stated here, I don’t think Greece is particularly the best move there is.
And what would that be? It’s not like another tree is being deprived of Greek vehicles here, Israel is the logical placement really. Furthermore 90% of the disputing points for this addition have cited a ‘greco-iberian’ or ‘greek-turkish’ tree, neither of which are in Gaijins longterm plans, and neither of which provide much value over a simply subtree.
People don’t want greece → Israel because they dislike Israel, or want their own nation’s vehicles there instead, simple as
Unfortunately, the IDF and IMI have very good Opsec, and share the bare minimum about the tank besides marketing capabilities, and since there are no foreign operators of the Merkava, we have to rely on what miniscule info slips throught the cracks, just so happens that gaijin likes to capitalise on that and nerf the Merkava into the ground, while stating the same ‘we need detailed sources to counter our nerfs’ when said sources literally don’t exist, only the engineers know a lot of the time here
Not really. Cyprus and Greece have good Military relations but thats only recent. The issue it, is technically qualifies but its such a weak link compared to some LATAM countries (Chile mainly).
I think it should be done, the game could benefit from more variety, specially coming from the latin american continent or other middle east countries. Also the israeli tt is boring as hell as it is now, it is just USA but without competitive future
There is a half truth to your statement, I often find the tree as a sort of “melting pot” of vehicles, which quite makes it a unique experience at least from 5.7 - 13.0.
However it is once you reach 13.0 where the variety and sudden charm of the Israeli vehicles falls flat due to it being strictly being American made vehicles with very little changes, and said changes as I’ve mentioned before, mostly stem from a lack of dedication by the developers to implement the ideas brought forward by the community
And honestly, if I die playing the Sufa in top-tier again, my M.2 NVMe SSD dies with it.
It´s not boring! We got a spectecular choice of Magachs! Stylish Magachs, sexy Magachs, mech-warrior-like Magachs, Rocket-Magachs, composite-armor Magachs, Magachs on steroids, forgotten Magachs, daily work-horse Magachs and on an on. Well, there´s Merkavas too. :) In all honesty, I like the tech-tree big-time. Shalom and le´hitraot.
The high risk environment in which Merkavas are used for decades resulted in a highly specialized vehicle. Other armies have never faced the main threats for Merkavas: 100% lethal attacks with 100-300 gram heavy rocks thrown by kids. Other armies have no reliable data regarding the insane damages (and penetration values) of these rocks.
It is therefore somehow understandable that serious armies don’t see the need to consider to develop own or to buy foreign tanks dealing with threats which are limited to a certain area of the world.
I can’t imagine a single reason why people would dislike Israel.
