First about the protection, How shouldn’t I kill an AAA after I saw it spraying shells to a friendly for 5 secs? Modern AAA is VERY efficient in engaging jets within their comfort range, while jets can’t turn back right after a failed pass due to spawn protection, and the jet can never know about the protection if he is not willing to spawn camp
-who would just stare at the spawn to see something popping out from nowhere from the air-
And when the jet passes, he’s dead/lost all his position.
Spawning an AAA is pretty much a same, if not worse, case. Think about a jet who just cleared the existing AAA for himself/ his CAS mate, so they pushed in for better efficiency
Then a AAA, whichever, Pantsir for top tier, chaparral for lower, or even a zsu234. Spawn, Stay, Shoot, keeping themselves immortal, while ground radar gives a clear view of planes than seeing from air to ground.
I can convince myself the Spawn thing as a hidden AAA who drives out and shoots
BUT IT HAS SPAWN PROTECTION

💀🤦 why not just wait for spawn protection to run out?

How should u know and How should u wait to be killed?
I consistantly have aircraft that spawn, I’m looking directly at them, they de-render and don’t re-render until after they get to the tank map. I however don’t sit in spawn unless the map just doesn’t have any good spots for AA.
Your zoom and usage of the binoculars should make them render.
Otherwise check your graphics settings, and crew skills.
I do zoom, hell, I use Thermals, my crew skills are maxed and my settings are optimal according to GeForce Experience.
If you ask me, the game can take a break from adding new vehicles for a patch and focus on fixing stuff that needs fixing, like, why do they need to de-render anyway? why can’t the crew skills just make those little red arrows better?
How many KMs are you looking at something here though?
And if that range is massively long range, maybe binoculars and the skill itself does need to be broadened unless it’s your hardware and settings that cause it.
When spaa spawn, dip down and put distance and terrain between you and them. By the time you turn back around to re-engage, spawn protection is gone.
I wrote this post after I strafed a gepard who was still in spawn protection and had been shooting a friendly su25 for over 5 secs…
On my view I spot not the gepard spawning out of the air, but a line of tracers and he is right there, no marks. Only after strafing I was able to know he is still in spawn protection and I cannot save su25
It not about how to deal with them or should they be spawning
If I can just know that they are in spawn protection, it can still be fair that ground should have a chance not to be camped from the air
but I have to use ammo or my own plane to ONLY find out
Not sure how that can be done without giving the plane a large advantage.
I suppose that is a risk of attacking the enemy spawn.
This is not an issue i have really had. Every now and then i hit a spaa only for it to have spawn protection. But in most cases, i see them spawn in or, for higher brs, i get the rwr warning telling me they spawned in.

well, today I set up a new personal record by only staying alive for 7 seconds with my Gepard, because a jet were flying very low over me and shredding me with its canon.
Spawnprotection is a fucking joke right now and grinding kills with planes by camping the spawn is way too easy. Something really must be done, but every suggenstion I made regarding this topic got rejected. I guess gaijin don’t want this problem to be adressed.
Indeed, so there can always be a better solution
Now many AA stays at spawn… Not clever, but I would have to attack them.
And no one would like to overshoot an immortal AA and be an easy prey, as players should bot be forced to die to his enemy
