I’m guessing maybe because it’s a post ww2 captured vehicle? Weren’t people calling it controversial?(I’m not that well read about the vehicle in all honesty).
Of course, let’s ignore for now the fact that another vehicle in the pic wasn’t given to China either. As a pure captured vehicle, why can you only buy this one during special holidays?
Since it’s not really a good vehicle for grinding. It is available a few times a year for collectors to purchase.

Hide vehicles that make Russians uncomfortable, and boldly do things that make Chinese uncomfortable—that’s the reality of game operations right now.
What? How would a premium captured vehicle do that? You realize that there are russian captured vehicles in trees like germany and there’s even japanese captured tanks and planes in the chinese tech tree already
Literally the entire china low tier is foreign vehicles captured or otherwise

Yeah exactly. The fact that the premium is hidden is only related to its usefulness and better options existing at that BR,
It was sold to Thailand which is unrelated to Japan. It is simply in the same technology section. It is not even in the research portion as it will be a premium vehicle so it will not be linked to any japanese vehicles.
Thailand is using the VT-4 and Thailand is pared with the Japanese tree, so no it was not but you can’t claim it for China either as it won’t be fair for other sub nations
