The f14 gets fox 3s but the su 33 doesnt? It has them in real life so i dont know why the su 33 doesn’t have them. Some people might say “they were only tested” But to my knowledge the f14 also only tested them too. Maybe it could be moved up too 13.3 instead of 13.0 to balance it. For example it can get the r 77s and it would be an amazing plane for its br. Squadron vehicles deserve to be good too, for the time it takes to grind them.

it never has fox3 as it’s armament suite. stop making shit up. at 13.0 it is a perfectly capable platform that beats out other 13.0 non-ARH peer like SU-27, J-11, Gripen, M4K, MiG-29G, Belgian F-16, FRIGGIN TOMCAT and especially F-15 of all nations that doesn’t have HMD, has 4 less missile, carries the “bad” SARH missile, and is only saved by RWR and CM.
True, but it always gets uptiered. I am not joking that in the whole timebive been playong the su 33 ive never gotten a downtier. I mostly get full uptiers where the typhoons are and stuff. Its a miracle of you actually play at 13.0
The J-11 I flew also get uptiered. stop whining. the plane is good at 13.0, if you can’t play the Flanker clan to it’s strength as 3rd party specialist missile bus then don’t play it and go for gripen instead.

I get you want it to be 13.7 - 14.0, but stop being silly.

In my opinion Su-33 is in a hot spot, for the battle rating 13.0 having similar platform to the Su-27SM is an advantage but not having missiles to compete at full uptiers it’s not really cool.
Hopefully it shouldn’t recieve any battle rating changes when air vehicles faces a decompression.
I don’t think the Su-33 needs active radar homing missiles even if it was tested because the amount of missiles either between infrered seekers and semi-active radar homing missiles still makes it effective.
The Su-33 was never capable of using the R-77 (Fox-3) and probably never will be.
It’s equipped with the same old N001 ‘Меч’ radar as the standard Su-27, with only minor improvements for carrier-based operations. The fact that it entered production at a time when other aircraft could already employ Fox-3 missiles doesn’t mean it had the same capability
