currently the hornets are the worst 14.0s by a long shot(especially the finnish garbage truck), the american one could get an Aesa radar which would still leave it as worse than su30sm(closest comparable) as its slower with worse missiles, but it would at least make it usable.
base model 79 is incompatible and v4 should be saved for a peak legacy hornet down the line

yeah i know, i dont agree with it being saved down the line, right now the f/a18c late is garbage, and if we add an f/a18c late (2020) down the line with aim120d and an aesa radar it would be just as garbage
If they fixed the current radar it would be better. Maybe JSOW and BOL
eh by a small amount, it having am M scan radar is not really fixable

its not like we will ever need a better one, we have no need for a aim120d legacy hornet nor will we ever. super hornets will be better busses

Legacy is faster than superhornet with top speed, pretty sure its TWR is better because the super hornet is fat

Isn’t it 2 more AMRAAMs? At that point its not even worth using. Gaijin messed up putting the F-18C Late at 14.0, it would have made a good 13.7 with 6 ARH missiles.
il take two extra missiles over a marginally better flight model that is still terrible

Idk, I personally have nothing against the fa/18, even manage to have a positive kd ratio outside stock grind. It’s a perfectly fine plane but you won’t do well if you play it the same way as an F15 or f16
