Someone already suggested the addition of the Leclerc XLR with SHARD, that’s already a good approach, as the US should get SEPv3 with M829A3, Russia the T-90M2 with arena, Germany the 2A8 with DM83 and so on.
Asking for SHARD out of non-conformity is just selfish main behavior.
Increased penetration is a direct improvement to post-penetration damage.

DM63 has the same capabilities as DM53, just doesnt explode if hit.
DM73 marginaly better.

The problem and the convenient caveat you’re all missing for some reason is around how much you have to invest to get there. It’s unfair to invest another million SL and several games into a vehicle to even someone’s base performance.
To even it in 1 aspect while handily outperforming it in other areas regardless?
You dont go into a fight expecting enemies to have lvl 1 basic crews either? You go in expecting lvl 150 Ace and you get lucky 99% of the time.

Worse thermals, more modules. That is nothing near outperforming irrevocably as you guys try to frame it. The late Abrams have noticeable strong points as the hulldown play, and the round, yet to flank or to even breakthrough, I’d even take the T-80BVM before the SEPv3 any day of the week.

This just seems like you don’t want France to get a dart that is the same level we have now as it would make the top MBT come more in line
I am British main and i don’t understand the refusal to add something that would be at best a minor improvement of a tank

I’ll spin it around: Are you the opinion that the Leclerc needs a better round given its current reload time without needing to ace its crew like other highly played tech trees?
I’m against it, and so if it was Japan or any other nation with autoloaders. Germany, Great Britain, Italy and so other nations have to spend way more SL to get as similar offensive performance as the Leclerc, and yet this is somehow a debate.
It seems like there was a consensus/narrative that has been put together here on forums and agreed on by many without anyone posing counter-arguments to challenge said consensus for a very long time which leaves people vehemently opposed to the addition of SHARD.

Well shard would be a 2020s round, dm53 is 2005 and rbm60 is 2016. good luck trying to get a more modern round than Russia
