Getting tried of Noob vs Pro match making

I really did.

I got E-100 from tournaments and played a lot TSS back in a day.

So again please tell me how a random games that would be divided based on skill are going to be a sweatfest?

It’s the same as playing ranked R6 in diamond league vs bronze league it’s a night and day difference.

If you only put high skill players in a game it’s innately going to be a sweaty experience

So You mean that good players are going to have to play against players that have the same skill floor instead of sealclubbing?

That’s why I suggested putting low level players in a separate matchmaker so they can figure out the game in peace

Instead of doing the same by introducing SBMM?

SBMM would exponentially increase the queue times for some tiers

Only for certain skill levels

It could be done in a way that it won’t.

So instead of giving low level players a grace period to figure out the game you’d rather have a system that punishes players for being good with long ass queue times?

And with this system how do you deal with players playing with friends who necessarily aren’t as good?

Do you punish the less skilled by matching him in the high skill lobbies?
Or do you let the high skill player in to a lobby with low skilled players?

Instead of creating a system that have a lot of flaws and won’t solve anything for people who are not best in the game I propose SBMM that would level the experience for everyone.

Edited my reply

Yes, i don’t want to play against above average players like myself all the time, would be a sweatfest.

Same as at the time and any other SBMM game, takes the best player skill and balance by it.

So why squad of friends is being determined by best B.R.? Why a bt-5 that Your friend has, has to fight Leo2A7? Sorry that is stupid argument.

So You want to just sealclub, lmao.

The alternative is that you go in and kill people who have far less ability to defend themselves.

Do you know why AOE2:DE is still alive and well?

It has SBMM that filters out people after a rough placement period to only play against people as good/bad as they are. Result? You get low elo legends doing their weird stuff that’s honestly awesome to watch (T90Official often reviews their games). You get Mid Elo madness of people who actually understand the game but lack execution and finally you got High Elo wacky stuff where people both know and execute well.

If you put a high elo person against a low elo, or even someone mid elo - what do you get? A Bored high elo player not being challenged and just waiting for the match to end ASAP. On flipside, the newbie gets turned off of playing and just stops playing or goes back to playing Vs AI.

I’m not sure how fighting someone who is as good as you a “sweatfest” unless you prefer turning your brain off to farm people worse than you.

The only place I can see merit to the “good and bad players in 1 lobby mean the bad players can learn from good players” is somewhere like air sim EC where the community is usually mature enough to be able to communicate and chat and share advice and control schemes and whatnot when someone expresses frustration or they notice someone keeps crashing. Keyword is usually, and I’d still prefer if I could join a lobby without it either feeling like I’m seal clubbing people who keep stalling themselves when I spook them, or I get farmed by a guy with 4000 hours in just the spitfire lf mk ix alone.

Still, I concede I feel fewer newbies would get directed to the reddit tutorial library or the LFG discord if they were fully sequestered.

This has nothing to do with what vehicles you have unlocked?

So you want to punish people playing with friends who aren’t as good. What a great idea.

SBMM should only be introduced in a ranked mode which should be optional.

This is the same logic, my friend only have BT-5 and I have T-90 why he has to be punished by wanting to play with me?

So why they are punished when they don’t have proper tanks unlocked?

No, i want a chill game.

If you don’t have any useful or meaningful responses why reply?

You’re talking about something completely different.

You bringing in a friend in a BT5 to top tier is acompletely different story

Chill game where You don’t have to face players on the same skill lvl as Yours - This is what sealclubbing is.

And You bringing to high ranking game a friend who has lower skill level is the same story

Yes sure, i am the only good player ever in random games.
Get a grip.
