Get the Scimitar Mk.2 in the Scimitar Strike Event!

Also, that doesn’t make any sense. because they only ever built one TOG II.

You also have the 28 pounder, Sure there isn’t MUCH information about the gun, But we do have ballistic reports.

It could punch through 116mm of 30 degree armor, at a KM, Which puts it well into Long 88 levels of penetration of closer rangers. Likely due to the 17pounder Cartridge cases that allowed for more propellant compared to the original 3.7in Cases.

EDIT: you also have the fact that you quite literally can’t store ammo under the turret like they do in game.

THE TURRET DRIVE IS DOWN THERE.

Hmm… Turret basket?

as much as it pains me to say it, WoT players are more likely to pass kindergarden

I’ve played a few games in the Scimitar Mk.2 now and it isn’t great…
It performs as I predicted it would; the Warrior without the ATGM.

It just doesn’t have the mobility that the Fox and Scimitar Mk.1 have to justify how little armour and penetration it has.
Also 50mm stock penetration is crazy, nothing should be forced to play with that little penetration at that tier.

Now it’s stuck at 8.3 because of a slightly less worthless ammo type.

I mean I’ll take it! Still waiting on the removable armor though…

its exactly the same as APFSDS on puma (at lower velocity)

Given as the brochure mentioned commonality that would make sense

Elevation drive takes up most of the floor space.

Base armor seems to be in a good state. It’s the slats that are completely useless.

As for the mobility, something is very wrong with the transmission. I think this is due to torque, or the lack thereof. As I understand it, torque isn’t really in game (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong). The new engine for the Mk.2 has lower RPM but should have much greater torque to balance it out. I’m not really sure how this could be fixed besides the bandaid fix of just letting us remove the slat armor which seems to be forthcoming.

Wow, Such good. Much wow.

1 Degree more angled pen.

and barely better pen at range.

Such a amazing brilliant gift you have given us gaijin. We British players shall cherish this forever.

I imagine they somehow copied an earlier iteration of the Scimitar Mk 1 which had some kind of bug making it terrible to drive.

Id like to point out that we have definitive proof from both sides of the Desert Wars of Standard Rarden 30mm APDS being able to UFP T-55s and T-62, AT RANGE.

Clear marketing lie

Shouldn’t the (for lack of a better word) “spoiler” be removed from the top of the turret when the slat armour is removed? The images I have seen of it without slat armour don’t have it.

Yes, it does. Only a small area directly forward and backwards where it is possible to use the full listed gun depression.

100% agree. Even 8.0 is pushing it.

Yup. I had multiple HEAT and/or HEATFS go right through the cope cage as if it wasn’t even there.

I stopped even trying to spade it when I realized it has Soviet style gun depression, and after facing 9.0/9.3 BR tanks in effectively every match. Total waste of time. I might try it again when the cope cage is removable AND it gets lowered to at least 8.0 BR.

Yes, I believe that the “spoiler” is part of the TES (Theatre entry standard) package, which also includes the SLAT armour. If the SLAT is removed, the radio aerial platform/jamming station (“spoiler”) should also be.
