It would be a Scimitar with actual mobility, and fire on the move capabilities, Due to the 44kg Fluted heavy barrels that created a balanced gun that acted as if it was stabilized.
First match…
T-58 pushed me as i coulnt do anything (50mm stock pen)
20kmh uphill climb… (30* ish incline)
Out flanked by rattas… (20mm kind)
I am not even gonna talk about 35mm kind
British were not cooking, also i would rather have 25hp per ton of a MK1 than 18hp per ton… but i am not deep enough in british TT to be objective enough
This thing is terrible. That is all.
youre mistaken, the fluted barrels assisted in stability of the barrel, intended for a stabiliser system. Reduced the barrel wobble so that it wouldnt be like a 2a42 and swing all over the place.
would have near to no affect on how the british and dutch used rarden
its not meant to act like this. Even with the rather bloated weight of afghan war vehicles it should be significantly better overall
Do you mean armor wise (i dont see much hope there) or better engine / gearbox?
Man it isnt a good vehicle in any way
armour wise and its weight still seems off
This has to be the most dogshit vehicle ive played in this game so far.
The british got their one good event vehicle for the next 5 years with the TOG.
We will have to wait a while for the next one.
It didnt have to be this way…
gaijin just needs to establish the narrative that British light tanks are “bad” and therefore they can justify adding Soviet C&Ps instead
Whoever thought that this thing is 8.3 worthy should be fired!
I’d say the state of this vehicle is between the people calling it bad and the people calling it OP
with proper positioning and aim, it CAN module-snipe ammoracks on a good flank
on the other hand, I don’t think a light tank is considered “good” if it has to constantly grasp at straws and pray the enemy team does not have even a smidge of situational awareness and logical thinking (then again, this is War Thunder, where most people just hold W down and read “Attention to the Map!” as “There’s an enemy exactly here” rather than “There was an enemy around here”)
probably as it was built to be a BMP killer
this is honestly as poor of a decision as the BMPT at 10.3
No No, you can spam 10 marks for that enemy still being there and people won’t even bother looking in that general direction eitherway
The heavier barrels balanced out the Breach, making it a entirely balanced Gun, Like the Shoulder fired 6 pounders in the Crusader.
In testing Just with the Weighted barrels the Rarden Sheridan was able to fire accurately on the move at up to 30mph.
The Barrels were 44kg, compared to the 26kg barrels of the standard Rarden, nearly double the weight, and that balanced out the Breach and mechanisms at the back.
And it wasn’t even that good, because they made it completely unhistorical and there’s still tons of bug reports outstanding or been denied because of their delusion that it’s “not the Tank Museum one”.
Some of those bug reports i get the denial on, i did see one about how it shouldn’t have the forward armor slab.
But that’s just insane.

The bolts are there to have it on there, its just missing the armor panel.
You also have the fact that the rear should be 50mm of Rolled cemented armor.
And the UFP should be 114mm.
