I know this is an old thread and all but since it was unearthed again.
Germany getting it does make sense for one reason alone. Germany got a bunch of event vehicles around that BR over time rather than as TT additions. Meaning anyone who doesn’t get them is shit out of luck. Especially with decompression this has lead to Germany having fewer and fewer viable line ups and more and more orphan vehicles.
Actually the main reason should be that if other nations can get their export vehicles then Germany should get KF41 as well.
Germany should also get the Leopard 2A7+(Leopard 2A7HU prototype)
While Japan was getting the Su-30, Russia was obtaining an even more advanced version of the Su-30. When Italy and Sweden were receiving German equipment, Germany got nothing.

Does make sense, I just find it funny that both Germany and the US currently aren’t the ones with the best version of their MBTs. Honestly the US should get the Taiwanese version too.
