The entire 3D model and engine of T-72B3 when you get the upgrade package changes. For that matter the T-64B,T-80B and BVM also have changed to their 3D models when you upgrade them just not a new engine. The 3D model for the T-80U and UK also change when you unlock thermals.
So gaijin is perfectly capable of giving the PUMA an S1 upgrade and the fact that they aren’t is really telling.

for some reason PUMA in game cannot detect khrizantema beam riding i tought this was a bug but aswell i tought “wait if they make this a feature MUSS 2.0 could be added since its capable of detecting beam riding from the new generation missiles now” but i doubt they will ever make that a feature
not gonna give too much about it for fear of being flagged as “spam” like last one did

for the moment i’d say it should be a good idea to make a post specifically to catch all the info of the PUMA and check what its missing or what could be added for the future and maybe even get some info from the old forum
Why wasnt Germany (the actual developer and producer of the Lynx) even considered for receiving a different model of the Lynx? This patch so far seems to have no coherence in what vehicles where chosen or how they where modeled

And they will add to another branches with better options again? Just a reminder that already two nations are making horns in Germany, surpassing it in its own vehicles.kf-41, kf-51 and leo 2a7+ will never appear in Germany tech tree with that logic, wich developers opperate now. And only for Germany…

And if there are plenty of vehicles left to add, then Why aren’t they being added? So far in the announcements and streams, Germany is receiving a grand total of 3 vehicles, a helicopter nobody is going to use, a premium battleship and the PSO. If there are so many vehicles available, why are we getting drip-fed mediocre content?

Please see the response above. Its possible Germany may receive a version of KF in the future. It was not said anywhere that other variants have not been considered for Germany in the future. This patch however, we are introducing the serial version which is unique to Hungary as the first and only operator of the production vehicle and the primary top of the tree vehicle for them.

Ehhh, thats the thing the way the russian streamer said it, it sounded like since germany never operated them it isnt getting them.
And i am just gonna say, hopefully the same wont happen for a future KF 51 Panther, the reaction to germany not getting that one will propably be even worse

Mike on the reveal stream said that Germany was never going to get one because “it never served in the Bundeswehr” (ignoring the multitude of other export vehicles finding their way into the home countries tech tree), and nebulous answers such as “it may come in the future” really do not reassure me, and I guess more than a few others, that the Germans will ever receive a tank they develop, build, and export.
Gaijin’s time lines on the “future” seem to range from anywhere like the next upcoming patch to 3 years later

Next patch if it’s any important money making nation they don’t hate like Russia and US. 1 year + for Germany is the standard (F-4F, MiG-23, et al)

Strange that the (operator) argument seems to only apply to certain tanks like the kf41. Seems quite hypocritical. But im aware your not the boss so ill leave it there.

I feel like a clarification was really needed thank you for clarifying that for us, and another problem we have right now is that with the introduction of the KF41 is the PUMA gonna get fixed?, the KF41 shares a lot of parts with the PUMA like the auto cannon which means it will inherit a lot of the problems like the imprecision and lack of a working AHEAD ammo, so we are wondering if they will ever fix it this update or in a next patch or if it is planned at all to be fixed

Dont forget any new german vehicle needs to be locked behind a horrible event before getting a tech tree version 4 updates later.

Yeah the use of weasel words like ‘may’ is concerning. Its a non descript word that means literally anything. Likely only to illicit false hope in us.
