With the recent addition of the H145M where it doesnt bring anything new and its the same bullshit and still inferior to their counterparts.
Germany needs at least some helicopter with a turret to defend itself from close range. On GRB other helis can just fly into our helipad and shred us with their autocannons meanwhile they will dodge our AAMs with flares or the spikes will miss miserably.
So looking it up on internet for better options i discovered gaijin already gave germany an helicopter with turret but they made it PREMIUM. The Tiger HAD-E which i had no idea they added to germany until now, It is 11.0 + can only carry x4 hellfires so it doesnt stand a chance for high brs.
So what possible options we have for germany?

Since we already have Polish Leopard on the tree i think it could be a nice addition but it would be another copy paste.
The other option i found was the prototype Tiger KHT with the RMK30 cannon. Which would be the same as the actual tiger we have but with a cannon. Which i think this would be the best option available right now and most interesting.

It’s not even about getting a tech tree, the Polish AH-64E has been denied for Germany on multiple occasions, yet people still ask for a vehicle who’s deliveries only start in 2028.
Beside we have more examples - Canadian Leo2s are in germany but canadian hornet is UK. Spanish centauro is italy but spanish tiger is germany. Aussie abrams in US but newer aussie abrams in UK. etc
I mean they can’t decide where to colletively put the Aussiebrams (and went against precedent by just giving the second and third to another nation than the first), why would it hurt to give a mayor nation a competive helicopter?
This really goes back to the issue that NL tanks went into the french tree despite germany and NL having way closer ties.
It wouldnt hurt but it just doesnt make any sense in this case. Germany has nothing to do with the Apache and Poland is simply not a subtree. There is no precedent like that and thats good.
That would be essentially the only option. Theoretically Gaijin could pull an ITO move and put the dutch 64E in both trees and it would make a bit of sense but i sincerely doubt that that will happen.
What Gaijin really needs to do is buff the existing German helicopters and nerf LDIRCM alltogether.
UK abramses are newer and thus more accurately reflect gaijin current intentions with australia.
Beside, first aussie abrams was prolly the same as polish Leo2 or iranian tomcat - manufacturer link.

It doesnt make sense, and gaijin officialy denied poland as subtree to germany (@THEPolishThunder either already linked the comments or will link them).
Isnt it like single brigade within NATO? If thats all what it takes for a subtree, then CZ is also german subtree because some of our units are/were organised under bundeswehr command.
Since 2023 all 3 brigades of the dutch army are actually integrated into german divisions so its more than the combined divisions that are under NATO command.
