Germany needs a helicopter with a turret

What other point, that Gaiijin will put whatever vehicle whereever they feel like?

The stupid whataboutism of the F14?

How is the iranian tomcat stupid example when talking about polish Leo2? It clearly demonstrates that technological/manufacturer link =/= subtree.

Well one of the divisions is part of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence battlegroup in Lithuania but they are all german divisions under german command.
The dutch-german military cooperation is actually pretty deep even for european/nato standards Bilaterale Kooperation Deutschland-Niederlande

Sure then. The cooperstion link is there for modern dutch vehicles I suppose.

After Greece, I can’t see any reason not to give Poland as a subtree to Germany. That would, in any case, be better than if they tried to make another tree (some sort of Eastern Europe mix probably?), which would be just as much of a failure as Israel tree.

And the dutch subtree shows that Gaijin willl add a subtree to a nation that has zero connections with said mayor nation.

It isn’t. It’s a independent cooperation agreement between the Netherlands and Germany. Some people like to oversell the integration to the point of claiming that an independent Dutch Army no longer exists, but it does.

Proof (Translated from goverment article: The Dutch Army is not fully integrated with the German Army. The Army Staff in Utrecht still commands the integrated combat brigades. The Netherlands and Germany decide independently whether to deploy their military personnel and under what conditions. The Dutch units that have been integrated into a German division also remain independently deployable)

The integration is mainly focused on shared command structures, giving the Netherlands the ability to operate alongside a much larger force and therefore increasing what it can do at the tactical level. For Germany, it provides additional brigades that can contribute to its overall combat capabilities.

Procurement also remains independent, meaning the Netherlands and Germany can still choose completely different vehicles and equipment. That said, the cooperation has made it easier and potentially cheaper for both countries to jointly procure equipment when they choose to do so.

Already acknowledged above.

Polish x Czechoslovakia tree would only have true copypaste at WW2 BRs due to certain blunder. They otherwise have enough modified vehicles that bring in actual gameplay differences to base versions to justify its existence.

So how would WW2 stuff work?

The same as the ROC and China.

If you infer polish subtree from single polish Leo2 in germany, you logically must infer iranian subtree to US from single iranian jet.

Or

You recognise vehicle can be placed in TT solely due to technological/manufacturer link.

There is no in between.

The reason would be that the Greece addition there is stupid anyway and Israel actually needed something to make an actual tree while Germany is already a decently sized tree, it just has some small holes.

Or I come to the conclusion that Gaijin will do whatever they feel is right today.

Like with ROC and China. Or the dutch tree. Or the greek tree in Isreal. Or the Canadian vehicles.

How does the dutch has zero connections to the french? They may not have as much as a connection to the germans but claiming zero is just bs

There is a method to the madness.

Theres always some link.

Its just that some links arent as strong as others.

Yep, the method of “I do whatever I please and think of a bogus reason later”.

There are curently zero vehicles of french origin in the dutch subtree. France didn’t need a gap-filler, as there were already enough leclercs and AMX-30 variants to fill the curent gaps (not that the Leopards closed them).

Clearly Gaijin can

They couldve very well placed iranian tomcat to russia if that was the sole reason.

To be honest this whole conversation is spiraling off from what the original poster was talking about, there isn’t really much of an option for Germany to get a helicopter with a turret

Like Trzyniec? Copy into both trees as gaijin did with m1a1 or skink, for example.

In any case, it’ll be one unique vehicle for every 4–5 clones, just like with Israel. And in my opinion, Israel was a complete failure as a standalone tree. It would have been much better if they had taken the most interesting vehicles from there and given them to the USA as subtree + events.
