German Tanks are Overpowered - Buff Needed for Russia and Other Nations

Now that the Tigers/panthers went up in BR, I think they are well balanced, and are only imbalanced due to compression.

Or just ask for them to be moved up in BR.

find the documents that prove that that is possible.

no

It already does that a fair bit.

Not at lower BRs lol. They are usually more cramped than other tanks, and their high pen is offset by abysmal gun depression and long reload times.

kv 1 is quite surviveable

Try to play France or Britain or Japan or any contry outside of Germany, USA and USSR

Only due to its armour being strong for a 3.7-4.3 tank. At 4.7 it starts to lose its advantages.

Russian tanks tend to be very protected but if penetrated through weak points, get one shot about 75% of the times they get penned. Some BR’s this factor changes but this is what I’ve observed.

I main France and Sweden, while also having China, USA, and Germany up to atleast rank V.

I guess you’re talking about the T-34-85. The T-34-85 can easily pen the Tiger, flat and even at a slight angle. And don’t compare T-34’s with Tigers, two total different tanks.

I have also tanked several nations but you can’t seriously tell me that Russian tanks lack protection compared to other nations in the game.

They lack survivability, not protection. Below rank VI they are usually more armoured than their counterparts, but they die easily if something penetrates them.

I think it’s going well, frankly, it’s quite rare to get one shot in T-34 or KV-1.

While I do not play Russia. I may dabble though, as having decent armour may be relaxing compared to playing paper mache machines.

I play Britain.

I much rather face a Tiger or a Panther in my Firefly, Comet, Avenger and Challenger than T-34s or ISes. Why? Tigers and panthers are predictable and can be penetrated without ricochets or shell shattering. T-34s love to shatter APDS.

One thing I found amusing is that… tigers can fail to penetrate a centurion mk1 in a face to face battle. For some reason, they keep shooting the angled UFP and keep bouncing. It feels pretty cool. Whereas a T-34, knowing where to aim, can OHK the centurion from the front.

Another amusing discovery I’ve made is… In the British research tree, look at the “Avenger.” Look at how thin its armour is. You can easily OHK it with APHE by shooting the top of its turret

I’ve had a recent match where I kept bouncing a KV-1’s shells with it until he died.

The KV-1 should have no issues killing an avenger.

Why do you think this happened?

Spoiler

edit:
Answer: He kept shooting this from an angle for whatever reason (looking at the replay because it astonished me as well.).

We should nerf british armour thickness.

APCBC Shot Mk.8 goes like butter throw every Soviet/German tank, own fault using APDS.

Okay, let’s talk about all the BRs.
4.3: Germany is indeed OP here and the Jagdpanzer IV should be 4.7 instead.
5.7/6.0: USSR has equivalent lineup using IS-1, KV-85, and T-34-85s alongside other tech trees.
6.7: USA has the best 6.7 lineup in the game IF you like APCR, Germany and Soviets do well having equivalents for the most part.
7.7? USSR and Germany are effectively tied, alongside Britain, USA, Sweden, and France at the least.
9.3? All 10 tech trees are equally good here.
10.3? Soviets, British, and USA control this BR for the most part.
11.7? “Equal enough” T-90M is as strong in armor as 2A7V, and the “3rd worst” round is still good enough.

USSR is doing fine and Germany is only really OP at 4.3.

if you are struggling with russian tanks against a tiger or a panther you seriously have skill issue brother

Eh, APDS saved me a few times by guaranteeing gunner kills thru mantlet for panthers on comet. Agree with challenger/cent/chari though

To be fair don’t most people yap on and on about Russian angled pen, so it would make sense if he shot it at an angled plate after hearing all that

Absolutely dreaming.
