I am posting to bring up the idea of seeing the German Sherman make a return for the upcoming German Unity Day tomorrow. Last time we saw it make a return, was on the 30th Unity Day anniversary, which was on October 3rd, 2020.
German Unity Day tomorrow will mark the 35th anniversary, which I think would be a good time to bring back a limited amount of German Shermans again, as on the 2020 event, 2020 Shermans were sold, so maybe we could see 2025 Shermans be sold tomorrow?
We have also seen them make returns on War Thunder’s 5th and 10th anniversary, hence where I got the increment of 5 years for the unity day.
I doubt it. Germany always gets the same 2 premiums and not even on sale. Unlike right now china is getting a sale. This isnt exclusive to germany though. I believe all western nations only get some Fomo vehicles
Well it’s best I bring it up and bring attention to it. It’s seen return on War Thunder’s 5th and 10th Birthday, as well as the 30th anniversary of German Unity, so logically it would make sense to come back on the 35th anniversary of German Unity day, following the increment of 5 years for WT’s birthday.
They will offer 2000 of them and they will all be sold before anyone west of GMT even gets out of bed. Has to be one Gaijin’s worst marketing blunders in the history of the game . . . they could literally sell 10’s of thousands if they just left it open for 1 or 2 days . . . .
yeah, just a sad state of affairs and the seemingly neglect of a certain portion of the player base all for a vehicle that cannot be sold/traded on the Marketplace and making “faux” exclusivity to it does no one any good. It just cuts revenue from Gaijin and I just have a hard time getting my head around that.
I have tried 3 different times to get this tank and each time . . . sold out.
It just seems ridiculous they way it has been done in the past.
Yeah, but they also get basically every other nations iconic vehicles on sale for their anniversaries, Mig-21 being the worst example, given the German one went on sale but the Russian one did not. Gaijin at their finest.
I hope Gaijin realizes that flying a flag upside-down is an insult or a sign of dis-respect.
