German Unity Day: A Tank and Plane for Golden Eagles, plus a Festive Decal!

In 1945, the Allies divided Germany into zones, which later turned into two countries, the GDR and FRG. In 1989, the process of their unification began, officially completing on October 3rd 1990. Since then, this date has been Germany’s main national holiday!

The Sea Hawk Mk.100 and the Pz.Sfl.Ic are temporarily available for Golden Eagles!

The Sea Hawk Mk.100 carrier-based jet fighter and the Pz.Sfl.Ic light tank will be temporarily available for 8,560 and 1,000 Golden Eagles respectively.

When: From today until October 7th (12:00 GMT)..

Where: Germany > Aviation / Army > Premium vehicles.

About the aircraft

  • The Sea Hawk Mk.100 for Germany is a capable of firing air-to-air missiles and use its effective 20 mm cannons in air battles. For ground battles, it’s also a great attack aircraft thanks to its range of bombs and rockets available.

About the tank

  • The Pz.Sfl.Ic is good at scouting and capturing points, and even good at being a tank destroyer in experienced hands. It’s ready to penetrate almost any armor, but it’s also quite fragile! It relies on sneaking around using its decent top speed of 56 km/h.

Get the “German Unity Day 2024” decal!

For this day, you’ll be able to get this decal by completing the task below.

When: From October 3rd (12:00 GMT) until October 7th (12:00 GMT).

Task: Play 3 battles using German vehicles at rank III or higher to receive the “German Unity Day 2024” decal.

Additional details:

  • Your activity must not be below 70%.
  • You can complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions, [Assault] mode and Helicopter PVE battles.
  • Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → German Unity Day.
  • You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customization menu.

Those are extremely good premiums, I have thé Sfl.Ic, it’s one of thé most Fun tanks in game!

And I really like thé Heart theme we have going on here lately. Very cute. 🥰

The Chinese get 2 50% reduced store packs featuring high tier premiums + 2 rare tanks only available for a limited time and on top of that with a 30% discount + 2 decals + 1 title.

Germany got a low bob tank and a British plane with no discount and a decal.

This is discrimination in my book. Have a good day.

I remeber when this holiday gave you discounts of 50% on vehicles like the prinz eugen.

Now all it gives you is a British fighter you have to buy at full price and an alright light tank

Got the German Hawk. Been waiting for it to come back since last year.

Any experienced Hawk pilot here? Which rockets are better AP Mk II or RP-3? I want to mainly play AA role in ASB and CAS in combined battles RB.

Can someone remind me what China got for their last event? Lol how is this all that is happening for the unification event? As someone that has played tanks and aircraft since both were released, you guys could have done better. You have entire tank and aircraft fully developed that aren’t in the game for germany that I know about that have been around for a very long time (not the 105 tiger, coelian or panther II, I do have them and they are cool, but didn’t exist so that’s fair) that 1) existed 2) could’ve been more german (really a British aircraft?) 3) could’ve been higher tier.
It just feels like there is a certain favoritism or fear of /for a certain community and nation.

Though I’m not a Hawk pilot, I have plenty experience with both rockets…
AP is, well, AP. Do I need to say more? :) However, it’s been some time since I used them, so maybe they’re better now (doubt it)…
RP-3 is good IF you hit the target. They’re very inaccurate but when they hit, it hurts…

TLDR: Good plane, buy it. It’s worth the 40EUR.

First game SBEC 7.3-8.3.
90minutes. 10kills, 1 death. 450k SL / 70k RP.

Found out it’s a great ratefighter and a decent turnfighter.
Engines tend to overheat after a while so you have to run at 98% thrust. Things like the B-57 / F-86 / Mig-15 can run away indefinetly away from you as the Hawk is not the fastest thing around. Though once you catch someone, it’s usually game over for them.
AIM9B easy kills from safe distance against pesky IL-28.
Deadly 4x 20mm cannons with plenty of ammo.
Good cockpit visibility.
Low stall speed and decent control over the plane at low speeds.
