All I have done is explain why Gaijin has this policy, that it has clearly stated many times.
I guess if you think anyone who disagrees with you is doing that I’ll take it.
You need to realize that we understand what Gaijin’s current stance is. We’re trying to give them options and have them realize that Germany’s gone through many different forms and there are plenty of choices besides the era they’d rather not touch. Not to mention, we’re not trying to glorify certain regimes, but the deeds of soldiers, pilots, etc.
When you’re so vehemently racist against anything regarding Germans it speaks volumes. You don’t see the broader picture and you’re stuck with the narrowminded perspective that all Germans are horrible and shouldn’t dare exist.

The game does not seem to have profile icons of draft dodgers, criminals (excluding the soviets, of course), ROA, anti-nation conspirators, terrorists, defectors, or traitors for any of the Pages of History, so why does it automatically have to be some unscrupulous garbage like that for the Axis &/or Germans? Why not a standard, non-traitorous person who performed their duty exceptionally for their country, such as the following persons?:

There could also be one for a German ship/submarine captain/crewman, particularly if they did something admirable (although I can’t think of any off the top of my head).

I purposely didn’t make any conclusions but merely stated that the media of does not fall in line with the public’s nationalistic sentiments unless it’s the USA.
Any form of fascism is seen as racism and the media are especially fearful of any kind of nationalistic displays especially form old Axis countries. Germany’s recent far right gains were even likened to Hitler of the 30s in the media.
Easy to see then why Gaijin wish to distance themselves from this kind of sensationalism.
That was the only point I made on what is a repeat thread.
I’d prefer that in all honesty… I really don’t want to do any unnecessary pandering to Gaijin. Also, if they ever add a Simo icon, holy hell Im grinding that one out ASAP…
Captain of U 156 during the Laconia Incident comes to mind as a good example. It’s a genuinely infuriating story, really.

Here, almost all or even all of the war criminals who fought on the side of the 3rd Reich, not to mention the service of some in the CC. Bruh, their names must be forgotten…
Don’t forget that some were brought back after the war to help rebuild the German military under ally supervision after being vetted that they would not bring back the ideologies.
So a definition of a good WW2 German is somebody who makes the grade for a Pages of history champion is :
- Didn’t have a love for their own country and it’s people above all others.
- Didn’t swear allegiance to that country’s regime and democratically elected leader.
- Did not follow orders given to them by superior officers regardless of how abhorrent or disagreeable they may have been.
- Were people who attempted to kill their own leadership when things took a turn for the worse.
And what may I ask is the definition then of a brave American or Russia Hero,That we can feature one side and not the other?

The notion of using post war Germans is interesting and it may be why the thread was left open.We can respect Gaijin previous statements but they have also said nothing is set in stone.
