I had some similar issues where the missile would literally pass through the plane without exploding. It’s strange because 6 months ago the stinger was somewhat reliable, now it seems that doesn’t work anymore. At first i thought it was a ping problem in my end ( I’m from south America so my games are all 130ms+), but last year the missile was working normally, so they might have done something to it on the past patches.

To be honest, this game has already been a joke, Gaijin just doesnt care about what real is, but changing and adding something utter unexisting, including F16AJ. Gaijin just do what they want, they dont want so called reallity or balance or something else, the only thing they care is russian bias. In 10.0 BR , Russians are completely invincible, they got obj292, 2s38, bmp2m, t72av, su25k and t80ud coming next major update. Therefore, I dont think they would add something useful to Germany or other NATO members.

No problem m8, for myself Germany is a dead end techtree that even though its underperforming/negatively broken in several areas is still considered OP/hated by the community. The most annoying part is that every “discussion” about the problems of the german TT get shut down with the “German Main” argument which sadly silences any thread 90% of the time as no one wants to discuss subjects with questionable intelligence. I´ve mostly switched to US and RU if I want to have fun in the game and only play Germany if I have a masochists day. My main point with the german TT is, that it gets its technology denied with the excuse of being “too powerful” while RU and US get them without a second thought.

But RU TT was never considered as OP by most players even getting so many biased vehicles, I just dont understand why this is. While, in earlier time, Germany conquered WW 2 cuz of historical vehicles, now I dont think RU is so much powerful as what we used to adjust the War had just told us all. Again, WT is absolutely a RU biased game. RU got everything best, except their barins.

I think this vehicle could be suggested. Altough not much is known about it, at the end of the day its just a BO 105 variant with better engines, a thermal sight already present ingame in the swedish BO 105 -HKP9A (FC)- and ability to use hellfires.
I believe its a very easy vehicle to add to the game (not much modelling required) and is probably one of the most needed additions for the german heli tree. It could help fill the huge gap between the BO 105 (9.3) and the UHT (11.7)

I would love to see this in game. I’m still pretty bitter about having to slog through two basically identical helicopters. (PAH-1 and 1A1) I don’t even think the PAH-1A1 is justified as a separate model, it could just be a modification for the PAH-1 seeing as all it does is replacing the HOT-1s for HOT-2s, but I digress.
The Hellfires + agile BO105 airframe should make it a fun platform to fly, at the very least until something like the H.145M gets added.

Anyone else notice that the Stinger on the UHT take ages to activate? 4-5 seconds until the seeker activates not to mention that the seeker is off and oftentimes you have to press the key twice or thrice until the seeker actually activates. By that point you´re often times already dead. Strela 1,5 seconds activate, Aim-9G/L 1,5 seconds, Chapparral 1,5 seconds and Mistral around 2-2,2 seconds.
With further testing, even the Ozelot and Gepard 1a2 take 4-5 seconds to activate the Stinger. In short the already defenseless UHT is made even more defenseless with missiles that are already far too easy to dodge and take far too long to activate.
Give Germany the IRIS-T/LFK NG already so it can atleast defend itself from airborne targets.

It’s because it uses the FIM 92 A instead of the K i think there was a Bug report for this i’ll have to check

Yeah they suck that’s why i think apaches and all eurocopters should be able to bring FIM92K specially the German one since it dosent have any other self defense weaponry, altough i aint gonna lie i’ve killed from time to time planes with PARS wich do better at shorter range than stingers, still not a proper anti air missile
Honestly just giving the Stingers their proper G-tolerance would go a long way (but hurr durr muh Igla can only pull 10G so NATO MANPADS shouldn’t be able to pull more yadda yadda yadda)

Tbh by now we should settle for nothing less than IRIS-T/LFK NG considering the AH-1Z got Aim-9M or alternatively the UHT goes down to 10.0 in its current state.
I´m fed up with GJ constantly hampering Germany with its Tech because its “too modern” yet other nations get things they dont even have remotely in service (Swedish choppers), still on testing grounds (2S38) or some object prototype someone made a play doh model and called it “tenk” or gamebreakingly modern (F-14/Gripen at its introduction).
Either every nation doesnt get its nice things or every nation gets its nice things. Not this political/historical cherry picking.

not really “its too modern” is more like they know germany has much better designs than a lot of countries and so decide to just not give them some stuff a good example on this is the leopard 2A7V, as for the LFK NG i would like to see that ingame specially cuz it was mounted in an ozelot at one point
I think the best potential upgrade that could come to the UHT is the twin PARS3 launchers, especially now the AH-60 has 16 spikes at 11.3.

The Ozelot is real but that launcher looks like an artist’s impression.
couldnt get too much out of it but it was mounted on an ozelot at some point
still i’d rather keep the defensive equipment i dont like being killed by planes
I would also love the ability to mount rocket pods on the outer pylons, though I’m not exactly sure if that’s done or even possible to do IRL. (specifically with the UHT) The fact that the AH-60 is lower in BR despite having better weaponry and a chin mounted gun is just funny.
