Thank you!! its nice to see someone thought the same as me before and did the ticket.
The accepted label means they are gonna add em?

It means that it will be discussed between the devs. It is a good sign but it is not a 100% chance for it being added soon or added at all. Many things have been accepted for a long time.

Yeah, kinda sucks it was accepted 3 months ago and still we didnt got any news about it.
But yeah, they should definetly add proper loadout to the F-4F Phantom II we have, i mean, it doesnt make sense for it to have the same loadout as the F-4F Early(Event vehicle) we already have in game, the F-4F Early was the only one supossed to be forced to carry the old loadout with 9Es and 9Js since thats the whole point of it being an Early version.

Extremely poor range, worse than 9Es. G pull is good but you have to get extremely close on someone unaware for them to hit.
9Ls wouldn’t be OP in any way given that it lacks any radar missiles.

AIM-9E/J have good range, and it’s identical.
9Ls would make F-4F 11.7 minimum, and harm the aircraft overall.

Delusional.

I don’t trust 9Js beyond ~1.2, maybe 1.5km. 9Es a little further, not much. 9Ds, Gs, and Ls all have much greater range.

How so?

Right now its BR is perfect.
With the BR of the F-111F/C it’d have to face F-16s, Mig-29s, and F-14s again.

Fair point.

I think gaijin should at least fix it’s stock grind, since not having decent missiles until tier IV is really bad.

9J’s can easily hit someone at 2.5km (obviously this changes depending on speed but still)

Well does it even matter to have it at BR 11.7 if it got AIM-9Ls? It’s gonna get up tiered anyway. Just sayin

You’d have to shoot it from pretty high up onto someone below you.
