From what I remember, the reason negotiations with KMW fell through was due to the turret. Leonardo wanted to creat a custom turret for the existing leopards instead of using the L55/A1
You may know about the issues, but you’re unlikely to know to what extent that issue affects them. I have played most nations til top tier, including nations such as:
- Germany
- US
- France
- Russia
- Sweden
- Japan
Since the topic at hand is about top tier, and more specifically, about CAS, bringing up the issues of other nations is nothing more than attempting to change the goalpost. I for one know that the issues talked about by US mains are way too overblown. Abrams has been very forgiving for me, my K/D and K/B are quite frankly great for what’s supposed to be “a bottom tier MBT”. SEPv1 is quickly overtaking the 2A7V in my rankings of “most enjoyable tank to play” for example, the biggest issue US players are dealing with is that they’re, to put it bluntly, bad. Abrams has pretty good armour all things considered, sure it’s not Leopard 2 tier - but at that point you’re not looking at things objectively i.e how good the armour is overall, but subjectively where unless your armour is as good as, arguably speaking, the best MBTs in the game, you classify it as “terrible”, despite the fact it isn’t.
I think this also applies to any other nation/vehicle, doesn’t matter which vehicle is, if there’s a horde of CAS you said, it’ll be mostly a defeat. So it’s not a exclusivity.*
You’ve misunderstood what I meant there. Most nations have answers/CAS of their own, see: Italy despite how atrocious the Arietes are, has the Gripen C that by itself can change the outcome of the match thanks to an outstanding Maverick load-out & a great thermal pod to aid in long-range attacks. By comparison, despite how good Germany’s ground is, their CAS can not influence how the match will end, it just can’t.

At no point did anyone argue they should receive a lot of extremely potent CAS aircraft, what has been argued however is that they need a better CAS aircraft that’s on par with what most other nations have. Currently the best Germany has to offer is the F-4F ICE with its 2xMav Gs - yes, they’re good, the platform however, and the amount of ground ordinance however are atrocious by comparison. It doesn’t even get a TPOD, so it’s limited to an internally installed camera with terrible zoom & equally bad quality.

The phantom and su22 are superior in the tree, but only because they have slightly more options and better at CAP.
Not exactly sure what you are looking for OP. You mean actual 11.7 top tier? What nation has event/premium strike planes above 11br?
The only thing germany lacks in terms of GRB for jets is a subsonic attacker like the a10/su25, and AGM carrier for top tier. Guided bombs are absolutely useless. Meta is missles, climbing to space is an absolute meme.
PS: buy the ju288 and just afk grind the entire air tree and make millions of SL at the same time.
You really are not in a position to talk about stats when, for every vehicle you both play, your stats are worse.

He has as many games in rank 7 and 8 outside of Germany as you have in total. I wouldn’t call that “0 experience outside of Germany’s top tier.” After all, he has approximately 5,900 more matches outside of Germany in ranks 7 and 8 than you do.
Let’s not forget that his stats are better than yours on average. Your average KD is ~1.1, while Furina’s is ~1.9 on the vehicles with which you have the most kills.

Who? Out of all the people who contributed to the argument, he has played America the most. Having a couple of hundred games is more than enough to get a grasp on the vehicles, which is, again, still more than you have.

No you dont, you can spend a few hundred on GE and just buy your way through the tech tree. But i would ate least grind through the first three levels as they can be done fairly quickly, then you can just use your GE to buy up to the BR you want.
That’s an option and even though I can afford it, some people can’t, nor should they have to spend several hundred dollars to get a decent tech tree cas plane.
I’ve ground 2 full air trees and i don’t enjoy it but I do enjoy occasional cas play.
Well thats why there is the grind which is free or the pay to get which is 0 grind. its a trade off on what people want to do.

I would like to advise anyone reading this to not even think about wasting any money on the F-4F early. I grinded it in the 2021 April Fool’s event, its a complete hunk of junk in Air or Ground RB.
