To be honest, I didn’t find anything about the export of the Mig-31 to Germany. Perhaps it was simply brought to the exhibition as a display and nothing more.

Apparently Iraq sent some MiG-21s to the GDR for maintenance. While being repaired, they were put in GDR markings.
